The only Carabinieri config existing right now is for the Piccolina and I'd love to see more Carabinieri vehicles. For example, a Vivace S Carabinieri, with the 5-cylinder!
And since you mentioned the Gendarmerie configs, neither of them (Vivace S Gendarmerie and Sunburst Gendarmerie) have the right siren and nor do they have French license plates. The siren itself is available in the Parts Selector though.

True that. But, apart from the characteristic twin blue roof lights, the Hopper Carabinieri, with its khaki colour and spartan equipment, looks more like a military vehicle (which it actually is, if we think of its purpose). I'm talking about the Carabinieri vehicles as we all know them (with the characteristic "dark blue body - white roof - red lightning" livery and the twin blue lights on the roof that is)!

Yup, but maybe more with a powerful 4 cylinders, like this Peugeot 308 GTI peugeot-308-gti-carabinieri-2-.jpg

Btw a config that could be added for the new Pessima would be a Driving School one, like the Covet

Yep, I can easily imagine a Vivace 230S with the Carabinieri treatment (besides, the Sport Front Bumper has Police Lights as an option for its grille)! And since I see blue DRLs on this 308 GTi, I also think that police lights could also be implemented in the DRL Grille of the Vivace S Front Bumper fitted to the Arsenic models! And they could work just like the main DRLs when they're on: constant white when they're simply on, flashing blue when the rest of the police lights are enabled!
I'd also really like to see a line of Interceptor vehicles, with the most powerful engine available. Right now we only have Interceptor versions for the Bluebuck, the Grand Marshal and the Sunburst.

The Pessima would be great with a Driving School livery because the AWS version could show the Learners how different the driving experience gets in narrow areas!

I think the new Pessima could get some stuff from the old one like AWS, aerodynamic and high efficiency parts, rally version and hillclimb version, that would be cool

That's what the cars of the forestal divison (is that how it's called?) looked like, before they recently switched to bright green

Yep, since BeamNG is a simulator of multiple real-life things/aspects, I assumed this one was also real but just didn't get to search it tbh. Grazie! ;)

I think the idea of it getting some parts from the old pessima is a valid one. I think it’s also reasonable to expect a new body style, my money is on 2 door or maybe a hatchback. Seeing as the grille is different in the image and based on previous remasters I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a facelift or prefacelift added as well. On the topic of police car I could see it being used as a mall security or something.

Damm, those police cars from Brazil make no sense at all. I mean, Dodge Chargers PPV? We don't get even a civilian version, imagine a foreign high performance sedan working as police cars. Mazda 626? Ok, we had some of them, but they were never used as police cars. Jetta? We only got the fouth generation Jetta and newer ones and they basically never were used as police cars either. Ford Explorer? Same thing with the 626, we got that generation, but, again, only civilian models. The Ford Focus is the only one they got right, but not so much, since Focus Police Cars were never really common. Also, the movie takes place on early 2010s, why ALL police cars (apart from the Chargers) are 90s cars? In 2010 we had the Blazer (same generation found in US on the late 90s, with just a facelift), uncountable cheap cars (especially for Hollywood) like the VW Gol, Chevy Corsa, Fiat Palio and other cars that would fit way better the films lore.

Back on topic, some people suggested that would be nice to have a Minivan on the game, and the Pessima has a good platform for it. But since the new car will not be based on the Pessima, maybe next time. Unless they decide to bring two new cars and a remaster on the same update.

That was just a speculation, even if Beamng has no Brazilian stuff yet.
Btw even if Beamng is a really realistic game, they can make some exceptions to reality

Cheaper versions of the European/american cars, but basically yes, most cars here are still NA, autos are still rare and expensive, we are FULL of econoboxes (ie: 1.0 NA cars, 3 cilinder 1.0turbo cars) Biggers engine are rare, most engines are i3s-i4s, some v6s and i6s on older cars, it is a weird market.

As a Brazilian, I have to agree. The Fast and Furious movie that was set in Rio de Janeiro didn't show the reality of the Brazilian police cars at that time. I remember that the Brazilian police used cars like the Chevrolet Corsa Classic, the Fiat Palio Weekend Adventure, the Chevrolet Blazer and the VW Parati during those years. If I remember correctly, even the VW Santana was used by the Brazilian police for a few years after it went out of production.

We all do! I think every Brazilian car enthusiast loves a good old turbocharged VW AP engine, also known as the "APzaum treskilimei" by some people on the Internet, hahahaha. I have an Instagram account dedicated to automotive photography. As much as I like to take pictures of exotic/vintage cars, I also like to take pictures of Brazilian cars that are not that uncommon to see in our streets. A while ago, I saw a beautiful 1995 VW Parati Surf, I just had to take a picture of it. The car looked like new!

Exactly. Nowadays, our cars are, at best, the same as european cars, like the Polo and the 208. Some of them are "BRDM" and are based on older european platforms, like the VW Gol (uses the front half of the PQ24 and the rest is an evolution of the B1 platform), Fiat Argo (uses some bits from the Grande Punto). The american side is with the pickups, although our trucks are basically the same ones sold in Thailand, like the Toyota Hilux, VW Amarok, Chevrolet S10 (shares the same crew cab and frame with the USDM Colorado and GMC Canyon), Ford Ranger and so on, with smaller petrol engines (S10 with the 2.5 SIDI and Hilux with the 2.7L dual VVT-i I4) and diesel engines.

I'd say that the Brazilian market is, basically, just like the Eastern Europe. Our VW is more like an Skoda, and our Renault is basically Dacia.

Yes, getting some parts from the '88 Pessima is the most logical thing since the existing '96 Pessima already has the same 1.8 SOHC and 2.0 DOHC 4-cylinder/5-Speed Manual/4-Speed Automatic powertrains and the same steel wheels and hubcaps.
But I think the AWS isn't among these things because, in the mid-90s, there was the burst of the Japanese economic bubble and all Japanese car brands started to decontent their models (which is just what the '96 Pessima reflects).
As for the bodies, yes, the 5-door is valid but, since the car is a Midsizer and has a length of 4.8m, my money goes to a 5-door Liftback rather than a Hatchback because, at this size, Liftbacks were the middle ground choice between the Sedan and Wagon bodies.
So I also expect a Wagon Pessima to come, in both generations.

The only Brazilian thing BeamNG has is the golden Lancehead pit viper, used for christening the Barstow Lancehead!
But in general, even car companies are starting to realize that Brazil is weird because recently Ford announced they're closing all of their activities in Brazil due to constant money losses!
