I think the "Start" would make more sense as a barebones track-ready trim level, without a radio or foglights and things like that. The whole idea of the Sunburst Start is cheap and basic 3rd world transportation, and I don't think that really applies to a roadster. It doesn't make much sense to have steelies, unpainted bumpers, and an underpowered engine in a 2021 sports car.
The original idea of the start CCF2 was just me thinking “what would that look like?”, and me being Theo, I put way too much effort into it. It is literally a (to-be-in release) joke. --- Post updated --- Ready for testing… 200-4S Camo-Car vs 200-4S
Analog Gauge Cluster! This is nowhere near final, I just wanted a good start on it. The SBR textures aren’t staying, they’re there because I want to be able to use these until 0.24 is rolled out.
I really, really like that. It brings old school gauges into the modern era with the nav on the side.
I absolutely LOVE the nav placement and analogue gauges! would you consider putting the indicators to the left and right of the speedo, between the tach and fuel guages?
If you were to bring that upper trim line (in red) into a more curved and forward slope like so, it would pull the passengers eyes forward towards the road and make the cockpit feel much more tight and driver and passenger focused, and make the dash feel far less wide and vast (in a positive way). I'd also perhaps move the driver side left vent farther towards the center, so it lines up with the end of the center console and the line created by the instrument cluster housing. (also a center console dash pod like that seen on the Impreza and Wrx/Sti would be amazing for high-performance models!)
No problem, I assumed as much If you want any other details that cant be implemented, you know where to find me
Labels! And general tidying… More Zoomed in (some are Pre-M layer therefore the trim isn’t as shiny)…. General Pics, I am very proud of this interior; Next up is the colours, then ambient lighting (yes it’s going in there), then the 2 Centre screens (top is main, bottom will be climate etc) Then the interior bucket and seats texturing. Edit: here’s the near future
It's mad how this has progressed so fast. Also, I am absolutely loving that interior, the white and the steering wheel sets it off. Looks really modern in an analogue way (if that makes sense?)
