Ok so somehow the texture got fixed after coming back the next day. I belive rebooting the computer could be the fix after deep clear cache, verify integrity etc.
Making a lore friendly version is bad for this exact reason. If the devs stepped in or if schumacher came back and fixed all the stuff that is still wrong with the mod, then it would be a possibility. Right now, the rear suspension needs to be fixed and the weight needs to be reduced. I do not know how to do this stuff but I would if I could. I do not want to hate on the Prasu but the reason it did not do as well as it could is because it was branded wrong. It was basically a glorified parts mod marketed as a total revitalization of the car. Making a lore friendly version of the 86 would also be disrespecting schumacher. Whoever does it (aside from if schumacher did it himself) would just be rebadging the car and we all know how much the beam community hates low effort stuff. If all of the issues the 86 has right now were fixed while it was being made lore friendly, it would lose its magic as the Toyota AE86 and still suffer.
seems its just the "floormats"/floor interior that have the material texture error, its my only mod active appart from the regenerator ui (and also a fresh install) might it be a bug adding the texture on blender?
so ive verified files, 17 were missing, and it didnt do anything, ive deep cleaned cache multiple times, ive restarted the pc after doing all that, and its still missing the textures for the floormats and window plastic.
I drove the car and it had its textures but when i despawned it, spawned a different car then spawned the ae86 again it had no texture! Could it be that its conflicting with a vanilla car?
Perhaps. My default is the 180sx and the pbr 86 has never had correct textures so I'm going to assume it conflicts with the 200bx in some way.
Youre using an outdated version of this mod, download this version from mediafire. Its wayyyy better, Make sure to delete the old version completely and if you have made any saves for it delete them, yes it may be sad but you have to or youll get no texture.
I did a 'deep cache clean' and have no ae86 files in documents/vehicles or in appdata and i still get missing trim and interior textures.
I really like the model but every time I spawn the car it makes a weird "ting" sound every second, it is very annoying.
