Update Speculation thread

I'm praying the new car isn't an ETK. It probably will be though, cause there are rumours of a new German map.

 

I see no reason why we'd get another new fullsize 4-door ETK when we already have the 800.

I'm almost willing to bet that it's a gavril.

 

Maybe i am blinding myself with my own interpretations of modern gavril design, but i just don't see it:/

I gotta mention about the motion blur on this image. Is it photoshoped or perhaps a new feature?

 

The wheels are blurred, motion blur confirmed!

 

Also take a look at the particles, specially on the collision between Bluebuck and Vivace.

 

Clearly, CGI'd and photoshopped to the max... jk, I don't know...if that's legit then that would be epic, would look soo good...i mean the background looks natural, not like it was edited upon - you'd have to be pretty skilled to get something CGI'd/edited so seamlessly

Plus i don't remember any instance of the devs photoshopping an image from the game like that.

 

I wouldnt be too sure about motion blur, as much as i want it and other things like dirtier/worn things overall, more eye candy and what not, that can just be PS or say added shutter speed on Photo Mode.

OT : it would be really nice to have some Beamng merch that we could buy online (I'm like @_Tanco : Beamng, take all my money)

 

this motion blur and particles looks very interesting. I don't think that the devs would photoshop a picture promoting their game, but the result looks so nice that it almost feel impossible to put in a game, just look at vivace's front wheel, look at how the dirt is thrown out of the tire due to the centrifugal force, it's beautiful ! If they managed to implement a new particle system of that level of detail it would be litterally insane

 

the devs have photoshopped stuff before (refer to Leroux83's post), but the bluebuck and vivace image looks like it was actually taken in game
it's not obviously edited like the other one

 

Oh c'mon guys, it's so obviously edited. D-series tires and vivace wheels - added rotational motion blur. Collision - extra particles. Plus extra dust all over, it's especially visible that it's added around vivace front tire - following it's rotation, no game create such advanced physics particles effect.

It looks edited at first glance, and there's no way it's straight from game. Please don't expect it or you'll be disappointed.
