    Hi all,
I know it’s probably been asked 1 million times and I’ve tried researching but it’s so over whelming I am wanting to buy my son a gaming pc for Xmas, he loves this game and watches others playing on YouTube, I am just wanting to spend around $1,500 (in Australia) on the desktop alone but I am so conflicted on what’s good etc.. any I have found online I will put the cpu + gpu specs into google with beamng to bring me here about if this game will run on them but I’m confused… I just want something good without breaking the bank

I do understand there is some shortage of parts or something at this moment in time therefor parts are costing extra ..

also from what I’ve previously read that I will need at least a 16gb ram and a graphics card that is decent .. but intel, amd still confuses me .. can anyone suggest anything at all that may assist me ?
Thank you so much in advance

    - confused mum

At least look for computers with an Intel Core i7 and 64GB of storage. if a computer has these specs, it will be
    1. a fine gaming experience for your son
    2. be within your budget
Dont go for Intel Core i3 or i5 because these are as slow as a 90's computer (when playing games) and Intel Core I9 is too expensive.
the minimum storage of 64GB isnt a MUST, it is however a smart move, because if your son wants to play more games on the computer than beamng, 32GB is not really much space to work with.

You should look at some prebuilt systems, i am not familiar with the Australian market and the different retailers but i know that NZXT has started to sell in Australia. They have this entry model but it is 200$ over your budget, anyways the specs are listed so that gives you an idea what to look for.

Other than that you should at other retailers such as Mwave.com.au and Umart.com.au

What are you even talking about and do you know the difference between storage and system memory?.
The only computers that have 64GB of storage is some very cheap Chromebooks and they are not suited for gaming at all, if you are talking about memory as in RAM then 64GB is total overkill.

I have 32GB of RAM in my computer and it's overkill, 16GB is perfectly fine for 99% of gamers.

I'm not going to comment much. Everyone makes mistakes.
