twincharger or something idk fcuk wait that uploaded wrong brb --- Post updated --- im competent i swear oh yeah and @FalloutNode ultimate chad for twincharger model n shiz
Another attempt of moving the T-80UD's tracks move. Reduced rear sprocket clipping through the rear fender (click to watch) I'm actually a bit disappointed. Seems that tracked vehicles in Beam isn't really better than 8X8 in terms of off-roading. Also the sprocket, unlike pressurewheels, are not auto-generated, so moving node around requires numerous work(and exploding upon spawn)

Yes! Stiv you have really stepped your game up to 11! --- Post updated --- was this meant to be in community screenshots? please don't eat me alive if it is a mod that you are making
I was actually trying to get some discussion started on this very topic over here. https://www.beamng.com/threads/guys-come-to-talk-about-tires.58720/page-5 Might have some useful information for you.
It can drive on mud with off-road tires but cannot drive with tracks? How about adding more road wheels (5) And increase the flotation of said road wheels
I think it would be cool if they made a whole new separate system for tracks like there is for wheels. Maybe someome who is extremely good at LUA can make such a system. Because we can see here that tracks based on rotators take way too much time to make and aren't as effective as they should be.
It's possible, but this isn't the right section to have that discussion. You can actually add a post over there on that thread I linked, and even though there is a warning about bumping, on threads like that, if you have genuine information or questions actually pertaining to the topic of the thread, no one will get mad about a bump as it is actually a useful bump as opposed to someone asking if "where download?" on a 5 year old dead mod thread. Either that or you could just make a new thread talking specifically about tracks as, other than me, I think there are 3 or 4 people out there who have either attempted, or are currently attempting to do a similar thing.
