Update Speculation thread

If it's on the wiki, then it's most likely ancient and probably doesn't mean anything, not to mention that anyone could edit the wiki back when it was open.

 

It's also VERY inaccurate. Old cars were loud, but the older V8 is just as noisy as the newer one. Also, the cam profile is too tame for the pre-emissions large engines. If you take a look at the exhaust system of the bluebuck or barstow, you'll see it's only got a pair of mufflers. Realistically, the cars would be significantly louder than most of the other cars in-game.

 

Heres a 63 Impala SS with the three fiddy engine at idle. I imagine this one is close to stock standard. might give you an idea on idle volume.

 

My god, just a beautiful machine.. i love them!

 

I feel like the editor could get updated soon. Does anyone else feel like it could?

No. TDev said the earliest will be mid November. There was never a date given for the other limit of that interval.

We know they weren't planning on releasing an update before mid-November, but we don't know anything more than that. Maybe it will be a Thanksgiving update, or maybe a Christmas update. We don't know.

 

Christmas. Mark my words, boys. But this will be a thicc xmas gift!

IDK Christmas seems a bit too far off, i'm voting for end of November/early December

 

I love this car! Such a beautiful machne, and what a great sounding engine!

 

Maybe, i just think with tdev stating after last update that they wanna change updates in terms of cycle and quality and the many different teasers that we have to wait a little longer than usual but getting the content cannon loaded up already.

 

I think mid december is a good estimate

Because it will give them time to check for bugs.


Also we dont know anything about the new car yet.
