Update Speculation thread

Sadly, it doesn't seems to happen today

 

Well, the more time they have to cook things up i reckon!

 

to be fair I think judging by that one fridge pic the big thing this update would either be a PBR update to the maps or a lighting overhaul

 

I think it's for the better! Makes our enthusiasm for the next teaser be more intense, sort of like energy being let out of a condensed capsule!

I agree. Also, if the devs show too much of the things they're working on, they won't be able to reveal some surprises that we will only know in the update.

 

Kind of changing topic but I’d like to address something that I’ve mentioned before but I don’t think has been talked about since the reveal of the van teaser. I think it’s possible that they may add a cutaway cab (essentially the cab chassis with the back wall of the cab removed) and a minibus/ shuttle bus body. In real life this is a very common upfit on vans like the H-series, so I believe that it is very well possible. The body may also be branded as a Wentward since they make buses. Finally, The cutaway cab would also work well with an official RV upfit that some people have already mentioned.

 

I do hope they make some sort of a Tow Truck with an hydraulic hook not just the flatbeds we already have.

 

While, yes, it does make me more excited for the update, I also am very impatient. I know that patience is very important and it will all be worth it in the end, but I am REALLY eager.

 

Yeah, im really impatient too but i think it will be well worth the waiting since this one getting fully loaded in terms of content!

 

Isn't there a cutaway config already in the game?

 

Not quite, it's just the cab, but it has a back wall and window.

 

They might post a teaser tuesday at 11:59 tonight just to screw with us....

 

i doubt they’d do that lol, but now i feel that next week there will be a teaser definitely

 

Not that i actually thought it possible, just as a fun thought. If they dont drop anymore teasers until a week or 2 before the update (which im betting on being mid-to-late december, or even january) we'll surely have a goid bit of suprises..

 

I find i hard to believe that we have to wait until january..
i think the latest release will be somewhere between mid to late december but even that seems a little to long from now on

True that, hadn't thought of it. If they show too much, then fans get bored because they grow accustomed to the content before it even gets included in the update and published!

Not only does Wentward make buses but it also uses Gavril engines (the TCM 8.9 I6 of the DT40L is made by Gavril)! So here's another link!

 

honestly i never thought about the likelihood of a funky little bus but it seems possible with the new H-series content. it'd also be a new vehicle to encourage people to try out the bus routes.
