Update Speculation thread

Considering people in the content creator program gets early access to updates, this could actually be interesting I suppose..

Well for the past week, I have seen at least 3+ updates to the QA branch every day so the chances of the build having gone gold are high. I may or may not have been that one person watching steamdb like a hawk the past few weeks.

 

If nothing else, my guess is that it was most likely designed by the same person/people. From what little we can see, the design language is remarkably similar - in the squared-off grille and how it interacts with the headlights, as well as the stance of the vehicle. My personal hope is that it will be a Bruckell, as the company desperately needs some variety - but only time will tell in that case.

But stylistically, I can certainly see the resemblance.

 

Of it's a pessima it isnt an mk3. The 90s pessima first year and 80s pessima last year have a gap, so 90s pessima is atleast the mk3 (though id expect a mid-late 70s first gen and late 70s-early 80s second gen, making the 90s version the mk.5), and there would probably be multiple gens in between teaser car and mk.5.

 

to be fair from a business/size standpoint rockstar would be a lot harder to sue into oblivion than beamng, it's not worth the risk putting cars that are so extremely similar in a game like beam which is probably why they're so supportive of the mod community
plus i mean just taking real cars and slapping on in-game badges is pretty representative of rockstar's effort level since GTAO dropped if you ask me so idk

Looks more like a european car to me. I'm expecting something similar to the Vivace/Tograc, which apart from the rally config is the car I use the least.

 

Im hoping for the rare N/A V8+MT+AWD sedan as a config, we got sooooo close with the charger R/T awd, hut no stick and doesn't for sale anymore. A brown deisel manual wagon would likely be too much to ask for, human existence can only get so good.

 

Considering how the Dodge Charger/300 are basically American equivalents to the fullsize luxury sedans (E Segment), You wouldn't be too far off.

 

Just wondering if recently remasters are released with sister/brother cars. Maybe we see Gavril minivan and Presima Covet from 1996 ?

I think that I've already said this in the thread, but I do think that the new car could be an English one.

Its design is not weird enough to be Japanese/French (and a big fat sporty looking sedan isn't representative of French vehicles at all), and not classic enough to be German (and we already have the 800series).

My bets are on a American muscle sedan, like the Charger, like some persons here, but also on an English one, like a Jaguar.

This would be interesting, because it would fill the lack of a country which is actually not represented in the game and bring quite a lot of new motorisations !

I've actually opened a car magazine to see the engines of the XF (which seems to be the most looking like car in the Jaguar brand), but they are kind of boring. But when you look at the F-Pace's one, that's immediately more interesting !
There are I4 Petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid, I6 Petrol and diesel and a 5.0 supercharged V8.

If we replace the I6 by V6, that could be nice, because we already have modern I6 with ETK.

Then, we could have some kind of racing variants, a wagon, why not a coupé ?..

What do you think about this ?
