I'm making a nascar track, and I want to have racing lines with more traction, can this be achieved with a setting in something like "Decal Road Editor"?

Or I've seen these prefab things around, I don't really understand how they work, or how to make them, would they be the only option?

You need to use terrain materials that go under the decal. They provide the grip and physics.

Have a look at the groundmodel types. For example Asphalt is normal road. But Asphalt_prepped is super grippy for drag strips. You can change this in the materials.json in your terrain folder (in the art folder).

You can do custom ones too, but I've never done that.

I'm having a look, and I see where I'd put "Asphalt_prepped", but that's a drastic change.... is there a write up on how to do custom grip numbers? I can't seem to find it

by god man, you've done it! Though I'd rather it be on a decal, this works just as well! (I was having no luck with my google keyword searching for this, so you're a life saver!)
