@LucasBE You did an amazing Job on that little roadster! Here are some notes after my first testdrives: 1. There is something wrong with the wheel alignment, either the app did not / can not show the correct values or the suspension values are off. The car drive too well for those shown asymetrical values. Base Kc4 shown here. 2. The vehicle performance data of some configs is not up-to-date. 3. Compared to the first gen Z3 the tank volume could be lower ( ETKK 70 liters vs Z3 [E36/7] 51 liters) source: https://www.auto-data.net/en/bmw-z3-e36-7-2.0-150hp-9914 The overall weight (kerb weight) of the ETKK could be around 100 kg lower, too, compared to the stepbrother from BMW. 4. Do you have plans in the future to add wheel wells to the front axle, as it looks bit empty for a car of that era.
The thing is the ETK is not a BMW Z3, its its own car with its own Lore. Its not designed to mimic the Z3 100%, only the concept of a German 90s 2 seater Sports car. Therefore it wont be the same. But the car is very very nice.
@LucasBE mentioned earlier that he will only be making the convertible, he won't be making the clowshoe.
This is absolutely phenomenal work! I've donated to your ko-fi . I have a couple requests though. I'd like a kind of euro-style light for the front and back, just average lights but without the amber. I've poorly photoshopped it here, as just kind of an example lol
This is amazing! I noticed that the CHMSL is lit up when the headlights are turned on, which probably isn't right, and the front fog lights texture is always illuminated, even when turned off (fog lights are off)
You mean Z3, right? I do clearly know that they aren't the same car, but for an car of that era and class such an big fuel tank is rather unlikley. The weight could be a desgin choice, no problem, but 1.4+ tons is relative heavy for a 4cyl. roadster of that time when an MX5 is about 1 ton and the Z3 at ~1.27 tons.
The reason why the suspension geometry app thinks the car is tilted is partially because the up refnode is offset by 1cm to the left so the game thinks that the whole car is tilted by 1cm. I said partially because after fixing it the L/R difference is way smaller but still too big compared to vanilla cars. I mean compared to old ones like the Piccolina it's similar but more modern ones are way more precise. For some reason the vanilla 200BX also has this issue and idk what could be causing it.
