This thread is a psychological warfare trick created by the beamng devs to distract us from getting any actual information while they are laughing at us as all of our predations are wrong.
The first generation A8 is a very nice car, pretty understated in comparison to the W140 and the E32/E38 gens. And that helps a lot when you want to go unnoticed! Where I lived in the Netherlands, I also happened to see a D11 in a showroom and it is the only time I have ever seen a D11 up until now. It had the 3.6 V8, something I never knew beforehand, I always thought of the car having the 4.2 V8 of the '93 model year I watched in that Motorweek Retro video, with the 6 Luxury Sedans! https://www.autoblog.nl/nieuws/in-nieuwstaat-verkerende-audi-v8-occasion-is-peperduur-155395 Back to speculation, I hope the new car is a Bruckell model because Bruckell needs some more lineup expansion and because I see many similarities of its shape, size and character lines to the Moonhawk (and because the Moonhawk has its detailing flaws, like the old interior textures and the non-functioning Manual Column Shifter).
Personally I hope it's a Chrysler/Dodge equivalent since the game is lacking one, but based on the grille and headlights it's probably either an ETK or a Cherrier
Yeah actually the 4.2 you associate with Audi is based on said 3.6 liter. It wouldn´t exist without it and was only developed because customers wanted a bigger engine compared to what they could get in a S-Class or an 7 Series, another reason was to make the D11 more attractive for buyers since it never really had a chance on the market because Audi was seen as an niche product in the Upper Class because Mercedes Benz and BMW ruled the market for decades and nobody would associate an Audi with prestige.
The modern ETK grille has a BMW inspiration to it, so I don't really think this will be an ETK. The grille of the new car looks too much square/perpendicular for that and, also, too large. Nor do I think this will be a Cherrier because Cherrier is French and car companies of France often make eccentric design/styling choices. Plus the car may be overly large for being a Cherrier model. --- Post updated --- Hmm I see! And a reason to the absence of Audi prestige was that they offered no 6- and 8-cylinder engines/models back then. 5-cylinders have made a great comeback today though although, with ICE reaching their end sooner or later, I wish 5-cylinders prevailed against 4-cylinders in the mainstream market. I mean they only have one extra cylinder but they open a whole new world of driving enjoyment! Same goes for 3-cylinders, they can sound really interesting too!
I had no idea what bag of Aeolus I would open! You're right, we've derailed once again! Dudes, we must stahp it (get some help)!!
Yeah i agree with what tobias95ng said, but its not the right place for that. Open a new thread for it. and by the way: I think the new car will be a Gavril because then, Gavril and Ibishu would have the same amount of cars again.
One thing I am sure of, gas cars are powered by gas, electric cars are powered by electricity. Case closed.
what the hell happened? when did this become a political discussion thread? don't argue about this in the thread specifically labeled "UPDATE SPECULATION." please and thank you.
