Seeing as everyone’s paid for it… unless they’re a pirate… I think we have the right to complain about beamng content. That being said I don’t think there will be anything major to complain about unless there are major bugs in this update.
Who complained? Its just the usual time period relatively close to an update ( no, im not assuming an exact date) where some of us getting a little unpatient because we love beamng ( maybe sometimes a bit too much xD) and wanna see the new content. Business as usual.
when they make it as stoat said, everyone's favorite is getting put back up to standards. just not now. what's in the teasers is what is coming.
Ok back in topic. What new engines if any do you think the pessima And van will get ( there for other gavrils ) Also we can't speculation in any new features that the new car will bring. I got a feeling there will be one. Also seeing that most updates come mid to mid/late December. I'll reckon the new car will be shown soonish. Also Worth noteing that updates for DEC often come 15th To the 22nd. There is a slim chance before. and a slimmer chance in JAN. ( hope not that far but cant rush art )
I reckon the Pessima will have its 1.8 SOHC and 2.0 DOHC 4-cylinder engines getting updates (both in parts and in textures) to keep up with the times. About the 2.7 V6, I also reckon it will have its textures and parts updated but I don't see it staying in the 'new' Pessima. Instead, I reckon it's going to the 'old' Pessima and a larger V6 (possibly a 3.0) will be taking its place in the 'new' one, since it's larger and heavier than the 'old' one. The Van won't have its engines changed because they already offer a full list of options. I really want an armored version for SWAT/Private Security/Group 4 purposes though and I also think an armored version would be amazing for the T-Series as well (just remember the huge square armored trucks in GTA IV, when you get the full 6 stars, that's the vehicle I'm talking about )! About premiere, nothing is certain but ok, it ain't gonna be a secret for long!
as far as engine options go, I'm kind of expecting there to be some sort of V10 for the van, since it's more variety, and both ford and chrysler had V10 engines in that era. I could also imagine a 4.2-ish V6 and some kind of older IDI I6 Diesel (with N/A or turbo) happening, though since they don't entirely fit the application of the van, i'm not going to hold my breath. as for pessima engines, I wouldn't be surprised if they take this opportunity to overhaul the models of all the 90s Ibishu engines, (since they already started with the pigeon's 1.3, and the extra parts on the 200bx/covet a while back) but as far as actual new engine variants, they might give it something like a 3.5 V6, as both the maxima and diamante/verada got 3.5L V6s around that era, and as others have suggested, maybe some euro-spec diesels.
I think the 4.1 Inline-6 is already good enough as a base engine for the Gavrils. Besides, how much more powerful can a V6 be with the same parts (Late Intake and Late ECU) and at the same displacement before entering the fields of the 4.5 V8?
not so much for performance, but more just as a successor to the likely already old 4.1 I6, for things like the facelift roamer and van.
I believe that, if they ever release a Gavril V6 engine, it will have a displacement around 4.1 liter and will develop around 175-180 hp. Here in Brazil, Chevy used to offer a 4.3 V6 in the top trims of the Blazer and the S10. It had around 180-190 hp, if I remember correctly.
We all know the new car is a aussie Ford/Holden mix with a 6MT and 7AT transmission choice, packing a straight 4l I6 turbo and a v8 option AND also comes with a ute option. I mean come on joe, its obvious joe
Im ironic as we get different takes on that car daily. European this, american that and the i realized i hadnt yet heard one about it being from Australia, which id enjoy as much as any. Imagine a bunch those battling it out at a the track, in all their roaring glory.
I don't think the van is getting any new engine. Reason: they would have to also add it to the D-Series, Roamer, Grand Marshal, Hopper, and in the future to the 200BX too. Probably too much work.
as a serious take, i'd doubt it. Australian Fullsizes are realistically pretty bland in proportioning (they're basically just a scaled up mondeo which happens to be RWD because that's what most buyers want, where the exaggerated arches on this seem to indicate that it's either upmarket, such as a Maserati ghibli, or that it's been designed to emphasise that it has been consciously kept RWD, when most in its market are FWD, for some perceived sportiness/premium value, like a dodge charger, genesis G80, lexus GS, etc.
