Why the hell should it be?

 

Because the mystery car is presumably a modern present-day sedan while the remastered Pessima is an old 90s sedan.

It can. anything can go wrong once the shootin´starts. (Ok, ok i quoted that from Red Dead Redemption 2 i stop now, i promise.)
Of course it could be released in February which i would hold any grudges against the developers BUT: it has to deliver if thats gonna be the case

 

Why do we speculate on a release date guys. The content is way more important. Just give the devs the time they need. Even if it's februar.

Yeah, right. I dont really care for the release even if it would have been a nice christmas gift but if the extra time helps to kick in even another remaster or kit out the new vehicle with more bodystyles and parts then go ahead, do it.

An early 2000s Japanese luxury sedan would look absolutely nothing like the teaser shown.

Its barely a luxury but the best we have in that category.
If you like to count full beige leather interior, full auto multzone climate control, heated seats and a SatNav a luxury class orientated vehicle

 

Unless that lamp post is a mod I'm not aware of, could this mean that we are finally getting working street lights?

I don't think the update will be this week, that would require American developers to work on bug fixes during Thanksgiving

 

They have done updates during Thanksgiving week before, for example 0.11 (the WCA update). It's definitely not out of the realm of possibility.

Here's a list of all Nov/Dec updates for reference.

0.21 - Dec 15, 2020
0.18 - Dec 9, 2019
0.15 - Dec 20, 2018 (Do note that this year there was an update on Oct 30 too)
0.11 - Nov 23, 2017
0.8 - Dec 21, 2016
0.5.1 - Dec 30, 2015
0.5 - Dec 18, 2015

Fun fact, the last two updates on that list both added vehicles (Burnside and Old Pessima), meaning there were two new cars within less than two weeks, it's crazy to remember how often all new cars were added back then.

Although this does indicate more of a pattern of December releases, do remember:

• Creator Branch updated over a week ago. If the creator branch has the update, then it is almost certainly ready enough for the developers to be comfortable having people make videos of it, not to mention that 10 days (time since said update) is more than enough time for videos to be made.
  
• Tdev said "Mid-November at the earliest", meaning that, if things went well, an update coming soon could be reasonable
• Increased SteamDB activity regarding the QA branch (3-4+ updates a day), which if present for a few weeks usually means an update is coming soon.
• November/Thanksgiving Week updates have happened before (see 0.11).
  
• Black Friday is this week, and timing a massive update before a major sale could be good for business.
• Given the cancellation of the (assumed to be September) update, the whole update schedule as a whole isn't the most predictable right now.
  
• With how out of control the hype train has gotten recently, if the update wasn't coming soon, Nadeox or someone else would have probably stepped in and tried to mitigate it, as has happened before when hype has gotten out of control a while before an update actually comes out.

Personally, I think there's a very good chance of the update this week, but we'll just have to wait and see.

The only reason the developers feel comfortable giving it to them is because the creators are under an NDA, so they cannot make videos or say anything. The "update" could technically be nothing more than a non-running version of the game with some revised files. But, like you, I think/hope it will come out this week, so I am going to say it is almost done as well.
