Update Speculation thread

If the update is near there would totally be a teaser today, moreover an update with a new car, they will have to hype up the new car with teasers like they were doing with vivace, wendover and wigeon

 

Actually yeah, dunno what I was thinking, lmao. So maybe...

 

Nearly 5PM in Bremen right now. Maybe we will still get something but the chances are getting slimmer and slimmer.

although if it's not this week, I'm 99% sure it'll be next week (since they don't want employees fixing bugs over Christmas y'know).

edit: thanks @surprisinguser1 for reminding me that the person who operates the twitter could not be in the HQ, so this might be meaningless.

 

The person operating their Twitter is probably somewhere else, because if they were in Bremen, they would have released some of their teasers past 10 PM.

 

Oh yeah, that's a good shout. They have people working all over the world.

Don´t rush the update but atleast show something from time to time.

 

A Wagon brick with an indestructible 5-cylinder in various guises would be amazing!
Or a weird Hatch-looking thing, like the SAAB 900, with an equally indestructible 4-cylinder, in NA and Turbocharged versions!

 

A charger isn't a normal car? What?

There are more engine options in a charger/challenger than just a V8...

i really hope this update ends up releasing this month, christmas is just around the corner and i know of like at least 4 good games who also have major updates that releases around christmas.

idk if any of yall are 7 days to die fans, but id die if both games had updates in the same time.

at this point im gonna create a bible dedicated to tdev just to have something to pray to every night, in the hopes that i can finally play this wonderful update.

its been so long without an update. its like im dying of thirst but for new content for this game xD.


i remember that one time where teaser tuesday switched into release tuesday.
i only wish the same could happen today...

 

When people think of the Charger they think of a muscle car, not a "normal car". A modern Volvo doesn't have that association.

Speaking of the Charger...

 

The whole idea for the longer update cicle is exactly to preven bugs, so it doesn't have as many hotfixes, so maybe this is why the creator branch was alredy updated, my bet is still this week, as it would make 14 days of the creator branch testing the update, woulde be a nice date

But, ig what I mean is that I would rather have a japanese family sedan (altima, mazda 6) type of car. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a charger-like car too.

Not to get too offtopic and spark another EV vs. ICE flamewar,

But the hammer always swings both ways. We have no clue what the world will look like by 2035, and I can guarantee you that even though a decent amount (2% of U.S. sales is apparently a "lot" lmao) of First World inhabitants are embracing the (third) EV "Revolution", there's a large part of the world that isn't going to go so easy. Not to mention how massive a financial undertaking such a mass-conversion would be, even spread out over a decade or two.

We weren't getting a Manual Supra last year, now we are. Things can, and likely will, change.
