Update Speculation thread

I wouldn't imagine the devs advertising the Pessima touring car if they weren't planning to release the update in a week or so.

 

wonder when we can expect PBR maps. haven't seen any in teasers. maybe they're waiting to reveal that but it doesnt seem like theres near enough time to do all the maps in 5 months anyway. sounds like a lot of work

 

I wouldn’t get your hopes up for that, I’d expect a year.

I think the new car is based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia!

 

I don't think it will be RWD, the car seems based on the BTCC Honda Accord which was FWD, they most likely edited the pic to make it look more cinematic

 

could be this but maybe they are finally adding the wantend pessima rwd

Or maybe 2 Different body's. One for FWD and one for RWD so the engine is mounted like a RWD.

but i think it was photo/video shoped in. I think its AWD and FWD only.

maybe not even AWD.

if it is. I will make a RWD anyway. Like the Mk1 Pessima and legran/wendova

 

Doesn’t have to be two bodies. Can be the same body for FWD and RWD pessimas. Not only does it make it easier for part compatibility, but is still realistic considering that the Rover 75 was available in both RWD and FWD drivetrains.

 

Well the Nissan Primera was RWD, but the Accord was FWD, and considering the Pessima is FWD only I'd say it will be that.

Imma say its not coming out today, none of the feels honestly although i want it to.
Also, ive actually hocked up my computer for BeamNG purposes so im prepared.

 

Prob we won't get it but just pointing it out because i was watching it for 2 weeks straight and it got updated atleast twice a day until today

 

Yeah, like I said earlier. I won't get my hopes up for it being released today, would be really sweet though!
I am guessing around tuesday - wednesday next week.

True, + the fact that they used the remastered pessima in their 20% off sale ad. Surely the update can't be that far away right?
