I haven't noticed that the trunk was open on this image... maybe they are implementing the Openable mod directly to the game? As they did with the Traffic AI back in the day
Yeah, but even then, the damage in the GM seems to be very slight, also, the Openable mod being implemented in game + the option we have of the walking mode (that just spawns out of the car, so we might get even a transition because of this, instead of the little lag and *puff* you're outside) + the new doors on the van, might not be too far off of what we could get, right? Would be a huge implementation
Man I would love something like that imagine they could use walking mode a bit differently and give us props to put in the vehicles like real-life how you can put things in trunks currently we can't do that and this makes sense for the future "career mode" and possibly loading the fridge in your car or van
https://beamng.com/game/news/blog/new-vehicle-reveal-the-cherrier-vivace/ Enjoy! So, new, higher resolution rock textures, redone light FX (Finally!) Trees seem to have been added in this field, replacing the grass and small bushes, and all the trees seem to be PBR as well! Could just be the resolution difference, but it looks like the tire textures have much more detail The glass texture looks much less green, and you can see that the window frame itself is PBR now, as are the wipers! Shadow draw distance looks huge now, check out the shadows cast on the peninsula in the background! And this stretch of road! I also noticed that it seems that either the tree model LODS themselves have been changed, or FXAA is now keeping more detail in the trees. Whatever the reason, you can clearly tell the difference, with trees at a far distance appearing much sharper, unlike the current blobs of green we have today. The Oilex Pessima Touring Car has a custom double wishbone red rear subframe? Look at the detail in these taillights And the tire lettering! Dope detail in the ground of the industrial map And the fridge is mounted in the bed of the D-series! Check out how the light interacts with the ground on PBR surfaces! Also, these particle effects seem to have motion blur, could be edited, but I don't think so. Last but not least, it seems that the DOF, at least in photos, has been greatly improved, Allowing for much cleaner transitions in DOF, almost like it's actually distance based, rather than just an on screen overlay. Seems to allow for Tilt-Shift photography, even! All in all, looks like an absolutely sexy update is around the corner. Can someone recreate the Hirochi Raceway Shot? Something about it feels different, but i can't put my finger on it. Was there always a Hirochi Raceway sign?
We have already said, and I have already admitted that I realized, that it was there. Can we move on, please?
I have a theory about this new sport version At first I thought it could be a simple GTz version, BUT: I'd like to point out that the bumpers look really close to the ones on the BTCC variant (+ seem kinda big for simple bumpers, 206 GT in mind, an homologation version for WRC), add to that, the rims look really special for a simple sport version WHAT IF, this model was actually the homologation version of the BTCC race car ?
Looks pretty similar to me. Textures are different, but layout and objects are still the same. I hope they add camera mode settings save slots, I really hate configuring it each time
I like this. It would be like the 1994 Alfa Romeo 155 Silverstone, a regular production car with an adjustable rear wing and a front spoiler.
