Update Speculation thread

I don't know if it's you who worked on it but I can already see a significative change on the DCTs shifts under mid/high load, they are way smoother than before, barely noticeable now and it's a really nice step in the right direction . The shift decision is still trash and there's still a few issues but one of the major problems got solved, now all the configs of my V8 mod will use etk's dct.

 

yeah, I can see it haveing that almost like the ford mustang had and it could add a new 10-speed transmission even though it's a lot of gears, we don't have it in the game yet other than mods so that would be cool to see.

I wouldn't be surprised to see AWD; I think most of the Chrysler L-family vehicles have at some point... The LX & LD Charger, the LA Challenger, LX Magnum, and some 300C's. They do have some interesting electronic systems I'd love to see, such as the front wheel drive disconect (do any cars currently in game have this feature?..)

I'm very curious to see body styles and facelifts. While I don't expect the BeamNG devs to have 3.5 cars over 2 generations like the Chrysler L-cars, I certainly do hope to see a "what if the American wagon never died" car. There is a huge amount of possible content with this platform in game.

Another thing I'm hoping to see is a godawful base V6 in a pre-facelift... The base LX Charger's didn't even make 180hp...

 

As we all know the devs i would be surprised if this doesnt get a sedan and a coupe version since they mashup 2-3 vehicles into one in the Beam Universe.
I would love to see a "SRT8" sedan and a "Hellcat" coupe top trim!
And please of course throw the 10-spd auto and AWD in!
I reaaaaally looking forward to the next two weeks.

Yeah was bit of bad move to tuck the most exciting part of the update away to keep us on the line.
But hey, maybe the car gets more content then.
I would be really disappointed if they leave the opportunity of 2 bodystyles in the Bastion.
Have i mentioned that i really looking forward to sweet sweet flatplane V8?!

 

I'm almost certain they're gonna give us the Sedan that's been teased and a Coupe body for that sweet (slight) weight reduction.

One thing I wanna say about the Bastion teaser image is I think they picked that unflattering angle on purpose. It really hides a lot of the lines, and you can see the starker angle the light takes on the right side. From the back and direct side I could see them looking good.

I hope you are right.
I speculate on a extra Coupe body too but i also expected an official RV H Series and was disappointed so lets hope atleast that comes true.

The car's a Bruckell, I meant Galaxynote2's taillight redesign looks like the RoR Gavril style :b

 

Honestly, I think the Bastion looks great from that rear 3/4 view. Can't wait to actually see it in game.
