Update Speculation thread

The bruckell bastion looks so sick. I see a lot of GMC in the design, especially the taillights.

 

So, I feel like some speculation….
What do you guys think the bastion will have in terms of content?

 

V6, V8, maybe an i4 Turbo, hopefully new engin sound?
awd, rwd, race spec, obvious cop spec, derby spec? definitely drag spec because 'Murica.
or. transverse engines with FWD :troll:
good interior, maybe a ton of screens, more gauge cluster animations

 

If my faith in the devs wont break:
Sedan will have a base V6 version with cheaper interior materials,
midtrim could possibly range from a super or turbocharged V6 up to a base V8.
Then of course we get to the sport and special versions where i would think of AWD, a nice Bodykit, full leather and of course a mean V8 N/A or super/turbocharged.
we already know there will be a police version so probably an unmarked cruiser maybe a modern cab for the lower V6 trims are possible.
i really hope they do make a second coupe bodystyle!

 

For this I'll just assume it's a sedan only.

• Slow as hell base model mostly used as a rental car (V6)
  
• Somewhat improved, more "average" model that's still not very interesting but not painful (V6)
  
• Basic sport (V8)
  
• Faster sport package (like the scat pack/SRT8)
  
• Normal police package with 1-2 versions (V6)
  
• Improved police package with 1-2 versions (V8)
  
• Stupid fast high end version (hellcat), possibly with a widebody? (V8)
  
• Maybe a custom police interceptor version based on one of the really high power models?
  
• Custom drag version
• Street tuned
• Maybe race and rally versions? They don't make the most sense but beam seems to slap them onto every car nowadays
• Safety/Pace Car?

 

V8, V6 for engines, maybe an I4

Like we saw, some police configurations, maybe several, for the differents US cities in the game, like Belasco, Firwood, Utah, ...

Maybe a Coupé variant, like the Challenger for the Charger

Also some heavily modified configurations and aftermarket parts.

The car could be sold from like 2017 to 2024, with a facelift in 2020/2021

For the interior, I don't really know, I don't think that it will have a lot of screens, maybe a digital gauge option.

The car will be probably rwd, with an awd option.


Anyway, about the Polish map, I do think that we'll receive some Polish stuff too, like new license plates and police cars !

Which cars could fit for the Polish police ? I think about the MK2 Pessima and the Covet, but I don't have any ideas of what Police cars could look like there

Where are you getting the information that they're adding a Polish map?

 

Polish and German Localistation means correct Translations for German and Polish Languages and not a polish / german map

 

Oh okay my bad, then I maybe misunderstood this !

It's just the fact that we'll see a remaster of the Etk center and that German and Poland are next to each other

 

Bruckell Bastion should have an SUV based on it

 

A quite normal commuter car with a V6 or even a R4 and some more beefy average to big V8's. Top versions most likely supercharged

I don't know. The Dodge Charger hasn't one as i know, so this one wouldn't have it either i believe.

 

A modern SUV would be so cool but the Bastion is looking fiiiiine!

I'm surprised that even shipped as I'm 99% sure that image is from a copyrighted cartoon.

 

I looked a bit around the pessima and saw that this button:

has a worn variant of itself under it:

Could we get worn interiors in near future? I would like it.

 

hopefully theres performance fixes in the second part of the update because the game genuinely runs horrible.

 

my speculation is that the GUI freezing and the default car being broken will be fixed next update possibly along with the Bruckell Bastion

 

For engine packages, maybe: 2.2L or 2.5L I4, 4.4L V8 (from the wendover), maybe a 5.0L V8, and maybe a bonus 3.3L V6?
For models I think there will be: a Luxe model, similar to the LeGran, maybe something like the Sunburst does, with a Sport and a Sport RS model (although I doubt they would be called that), and some kind of race model (maybe like a GT4 car?) as well as a drag variant.
Depending on how modern it is, I think it could have similar ECU types to the FCV, where they aren't tunable, but there are multiple ECUs to choose from.
