i dont mean this to come off as rude, but did all of the modernization stuff go right over your head? again, like a modern rendition of the engine, but in the same displacement
I would argue that the LS isn't even a rendition of the SBC since they share basically nothing in common apart from the rod caps iirc. Even the displacement of the LS1 and 350 SBC are different (345cuin vs 350cuin). That's like saying the Gen II Coyote in my Mustang is a modern rendition of the 302 Small-Block Ford because they share the same displacement. A modern rendition would be more akin to a Chrysler LA small-block and the Magnum engine. They are so similar they fall under the same family, share bolt patterns, rotating assembly components, valve train components, intake manifold spacing, valve covers, etc., except one was traditionally carbureted and one is multi-point fuel injected.
I'm wondering if the Bastion will have two top end trims, like how the S550 has the track focused flatplane GT350R and the less sensible GT500.
the rear lights on the bolide look a little wider to me. personally i think this is a good change, the current lights always looked a bit small imo
i'd agree, but i was trying to look at it in the perspective of beam, how all the gavril engines share displacements.
Bit of a stretch, but what if the car in the background isn’t a bolide? It doesn’t exactly look like a bolide, it seems to be a bit further leaned back and has different proportions, plus, the bolide is more of a Ferrari-Lamborghini type car then a group b car.
I mean the modern mustang still has the 302. Obviously it’s nothing like the original 302 in the older mustangs but it’s still 302 CUI. I think it will have a 378 cui but it’s not gonna really share any similarities to the older 378 CUI v8.
I guess I will need to reserve my hybrid drivetrain hopes for the next modern car coming after the bastion ... Unless they do an awesome surprise and I would be the happiest man on earth (really unlikely tho)
I think that this is likely too much of a stretch just because of the recognizable bolide rear fascia and what appears to be a similar shape it's don't think it's a cherrier either and I can't see where you got that from
