I have no idea how to do a gauge screen (I will have to learn: I’m not redesigning that area of the dash), look at the code if you want to (on the SBR or Vivace) and you’ll see how. Same case with the skin UV, though obviously I know how to unwrap it. I’m probably going to can the roof for the first release, it may come at a later date but it’s causing huge problems with the softtop and rear half node stability. Please understand nothing in modding is easy, stuff takes time, and I originally said at least 2 weeks. I am not superhuman, this is my first ever brand new car mod, and certain things (such as the Centre screen) I’m also delegating to other people that we all must be patient with.
i can belive that someone who joined a week ago has the AUDACITY to make a claim this uninformed and stupid
You can't make a skin UV? As far as I know unwrapping it is actually easier than normal texture UV, just make sure to do this on the second UV channel which you can add per mesh. If you have trouble with it then I'm sure someone can help you.
Before PBR it was a mess, with PBR it's really easy, basically for each map like diffuse, color palette etc. you can add "[map name]UseUv: 0" and then it will be on normal UV, or set it to 1 and then it will be on skin UV.
Enjoying a 230-6 in JRI, FSW parts pack textures! (Not done, needs some tidying) I’m really starting to adore substance painter… who knew you could weld?
It’s my initials, Finn ******** Wilkinson. You’ll notice it on every single one of my mods, if you go into your mods folder.
