i have a very hight horsepower car but i would like to use a dyno the wheel rollers work until gear six where it flings off like a rocket so is there a dyno mod or something simular?
Sadly a dyno was planned officially but dropped due to not being able to make it work properly. For now the idea is dead.
This would not work like this. Because of Grip issues, the car would just do a massive burnout and destroy the tires while only moving a little forward. But if you want the Power/Torque measuring of a dyno, there is a Tool in BeamNG for that.
Unfortunately, the dyno rolling road is dead, at least for now. But there are some steps with which you can measure your car's power and torque: 1) Spawn the Rollers prop (or the Ramp Roller prop, for a bit more realism) and go to the Parts Selector to spawn the appropriate Roller for each driven wheel. 2) Go to the UI Apps and choose the Engine Dyno or the Engine Debug app. 3) Equip your car with the Brake Line Lock feature from the Parts Selector (Front Line Lock for RWD cars, Rear Line Lock for FWD cars and, since the Line Lock is useless on 4WD/AWD cars, use the Node Grabber and catch your 4WD/AWD car from a rigid spot on its undercarriage) and activate it by pushing the brakes to the fullest and then pushing the Ctrl+Alt+Space buttons.
If the tires are spinning at let's say 300km/h, and you just put the car onto the still ground, the tires would definitely not grip and launch the car to 300km/h...they would burnout very quickly while the car barely moves...
Yes, but that was not the idea of the thread. He wanted to use the dyno to get the car to high speed and then like remove the dyno to kind of "launch" the car...if I understand it correctly --- Post updated --- Exactly. That is what I already said in a comment in this thread.
