I've been wondering about how useful having more on foot interaction across the map could be useful.
We dont have to go the full GTA mile of having buildings with interiors that you can only access on foot, but it would be nice to have, say, the stairs in the abandoned port hangars in the jungle map be accesible, or having a "safe house" that you can at least go inside, really, any excuse to do something on foot i think would fit very well with the game.

I thought about adding a monorail/train to WCU that you could board, or the ability to open the doors/trunk/hood of the car when you are on foot and before you get in could also add to the immersion.

As a small sidenote, there's a small bug where it seems not all "hide in cockpit" UI disappears when going into foot mode, the navigation UI stays on even if it wont appear in a car cockpit.

One of the minor tragedies of BeamNG's development is the fact that walking mode was added after nearly all the map remasters were complete. Can you imagine how cool it would have been to walk around the inside of, say, JRI's observatory, or climb ECA's firewatch tower?

Yes, very, however i dont think that would either have been a good idea due to the resources required to make so many areas that would only be accessible by foot to look good.
That's why my suggestion isn't about adding parts that could only be accesible by foot but also that would be visible in a car, so that there's more of a reason to add them.

Then again, my summer car really spoiled me with how well it mixed on foot with on car segments.
