I’m making a bet that there’s a reason they didn’t change up the sounds. Devs have said that they are unable to get sounds from recording actual vehicles, and that they have bigger things planned for the audio, so maybe the “bigger things” are coming soon and they didn’t feel they should put in the effort to make new sounds that are going to be gone relatively soon. I’d bet the sounds are simulated, IE every part of an engine has a unique sound, so every car has a distinct sound to itself IE a bluebuck with a 2 barrel carburetor would sound different from one with a 4 barrel carburetor.

Even though the Bolide has a V8 engine and not a V6, the experimental Stratos V6 sound sounds really fitting for the Bolide.
Nice! I hope we will get some improvements in exhaust sounds that are far away, especially from straight exhausts. Something like this in 1:33 And yes, I know that volume has been boosted. I mean actual sound.
Maybe a smaller 4 cylinders for the newer variants is possible, even if I don't think that it's really necessary... The only real lack is a sporty V8 in my opinion
I know it makes sense but I've seen a guy running 15 cars at ultra settings @120fps using Vulcan and he had barely 60fps with 9 cars at low settings on DirectX
Don't think so. The real-life equivalent, the 3-Series F30, had a 1.5l, 136hp Inline-3 as its base engine option and, before the facelift, it had a 1.6l Inline-4 with the same HP. Hell, someone in here posted something about the FCVs having the same dimensions as the 800-Series and the FCVs have a 1.2l, 110hp Inline-3 as their base option! --- Post updated --- ETK already has a 2.0l Inline-4 and it's perfectly adequate (well, apart from its sound, which must be changed because it's not fitting at all). I'm thinking of an 1.5 Inline-3 because we haven't had such an engine in the game up until now (plus there could also be a Diesel 1.5 Inline-3, for fully complementing the Inline engine options list, as there are already both gas and diesel versions for the Inline-4 and the Inline-6 blocks) and it would make the 800-Series a bit more affordable for countries with illogical taxing (for example applying a luxury tax on any car displacing over 2-liters). Plus, along with a 4-liter V8, it would complement the 'Lego' principle of the modern ETK engines (half a liter of displacement per cylinder) in a very nice way. Come to think of it: we already have Cherrier making a 1.6l Inline-4 and a 1.5l Inline-4 Diesel! ;-) As for the older ETKs, yeah, the 'Lego' principle doesn't apply on those. But the new ones already have the base for it!
An expansion in body style variety would be very nice. Mid-70s Sedan, Wagon and Convertible/T-Tops are missing from BeamNG. The Moonhawk's textures are certainly gonna be remastered, so I only hope the Devs correct the chrome bumpers and the chrome decorations (side Stripping and marker light/headlight casing) turning body coloured when the 'Sport', 'Special' and "'Sport' and 'Special'" liveries are selected. I mean, body coloured bumpers look cool on the Moonhawk, they make the shape more flowy, but it's better to have them separate from any livery.
The message says it all. Try again later when their host resets their bandwidth allowance. (I can't believe bandwidth limits are still a thing in 2021)
The engine bay of the etk800/k series (as they are both the same car) are really huge. I already managed to land a V8 and a V10 in it without any issue and there's still plenty of space remaining above and in the front of the engine, it could easily fit a V12 and a flat 6. The devs have a lot of different possibilities for the powertrain of the etk800/k
