Well here's a little welcome home update:

New and Updated Motors!!!
3.1L I6 - 224hp, 248lb-ft. (May switch to I5, lmk opinions)
3.9L V8 - 299hp, 305lb-ft.
4.3L V10 - 399p, 392lb-ft.
5.0L V12 - 474hp, 459lb-ft.

Added a 5-speed Automatic

Made the underbody black.
Made mirrors black, but ofc the front is still chrome lol.
Made a custom exhaust (not gonna show you, thats a surprise for when it releases )

Motor model textures are WIP, as well as strut towers lol

you said you might switch to an Inline-5. Please dont. BMW never had an inline 5 in the 8-series iirc. Maybe add it as an option tho bc i feel it just wont be right

 

V12? I wonder how it will sound

 

I very much hope he doesn’t use the Automation sound. It would be nice to have something new and different sounding compared to it as it’s not really the V12 sound many of us would like to see.

 

Yes. Automation sounds will make mod pretty boring. Cuz this is "BMW 8-Series" and it shouldn't have the same sounds from these "god mode " cars

 

No one has mentioned this, but that there is clearly a later Rover V8 engine lol. It even says the engine capacity on top of the intake lmao

looks kinda cool... way i look at it, the 8 series never came with a 3.9 soooooooo its technically an engine swap :shrugs:

well i know that... the idea is it to be "based" off an 8 series, not identical.

 

True, I just think maybe you should modify it slightly and make it more BMW'ish if that makes sense
