Few bugs I found: (unless it's a "feature") (they are also just standard seats) (grille lift is non existant) And other which already got reported so I won't mention them again. For suggestions, I think adding radio options to the interior would be a cool detail (there is an antenna but no radio, duh) Adding a drift steering would be a good idea too, atleast imo. Some exhaust options would be cool too. And of course sorting out the parts, like putting the license plate on the hatch instead of the body, air dam on the OT fascia, etc..
My headlights and taillights also appear with this weird writing. I already cleared the cache. Will it conflict with some other MOD?
I don't think so. --- Post updated --- I think it's for the caro plus grill that was just left by accident, there is no model for it in the pnez.dae too.
I have the same problem, tailights say NO NORMALS for some reason but other than that, great mod EDIT: hatch lettering also has that problem
Would be nice to have sport air intake and 1.6 GSi that has 89hp and removeable rear wiper would be awesome!
This is just an amazing and very detailed mod, I love the FSO Polonez and this one is absolutely stunning in appearance.
Really good mod, although the suspension does seem a little soft compared to other BeamNG cars. (I dunno if that's just a characteristic of the Polonez, I've never owned one) One thing I do know is the 1.4 K-series engine feels way too powerful, even in stock form. Having owned a Rover 25 with the same 1.4 (101hp) a few years back, The Polonez feels noticeably quicker. In fact, it feels on par with the 1.8 K series MG ZT my dad used to own, which definitely isn't right. Good engines though, and the predictable headgasket jokes are from bandwagon-jumping 'armchair experts' who know absolutely piss all about Rovers or that engine.
That may be a combination of the smaller rim diameter, shorter final drive, lower car weight(?) and it making 115hp instead of 95hp~ not sure what actual limiter would be on a 1.4 16v K series myself, but ingame its exactly 7k rpm and may also play factor in this real deal seems to hit 100mph / 160kmh in roughly 30 seconds, and 0-62mph / 100kmh in 8-9s if this video is anything to go by (which it probably isn't considering how much speedos in these i would guess overread?) i launched it a bunch of times myself with as little wheelspin as possible and ended up with these results 0-100kmh / 62mph anywhere from 8.7s - 9.07s depending on 2nd gear shift quality
@Dayz Me Rollin' - Yeah, the power is a little bit pushed up to match the feeling of driving real polonez. It should be about 103hp as the real one. Also the limiter irl is a little bit higher, about 7200 @WhatNot98 - yeah irl its quite soft for car like this, only the front springs will be a little bit stiffer. But about comparision, its stiffer than Miramars suspension which was the base reference
This mod is amazing. This mod is extremely detailed, jbeam is good, interior is detailed. Thanks for mod marf!
i'd shall mention this funny kombi conversion made by walent company. before the true wagon version came in the 1998 , you could order this conversion, with was basically hatch , but it could transform your car in to a sort of shooting brake ?
Apparently it doesn't conflict with another Mod. Too bad, as it's one of the best interior Mods I've ever seen. Could it be something related to the resolution settings?
