I have encountered a problem. In the beginning i was thinking about just making a land based map, but i reconsidered it and want to add some water. But the terrain is built so close to 0 that i cant get water without making a flood! :/ Is there a way to "raise" the whole map with objects higher? I tried just mark everything and lift it, then all collision seemed to disseappear! :x

Anyone got a solution? Would have been awesome! :D

Um, you can lower the water.

BTW. the collisions don't update until you exit the world editor

The water can be lowered, but the map itself cant be lowered below 0. I will try to raise it, save, and go in again.. Hopefully it will work! :s

    EDIT:

Didnt work, i still cant lower the map any more! :x

You can use the set level tool to be something lower. -20 for example. The paint around the edges and smooth it out as you desire:)

I just lower the water block. What happens when you try to lower it?

One thing to note though is that the center position of the terrain block is actually on a corner so to minimise z-fighting (the further from 0,0,0 the worse the fighting) you should always move your terrain to negative half the width on the horizontal axis. So if your terrain is 512x512m wide set it's position to -256 -256 0, if it's 1024 set it to -512 -512 0 etc. This will place it in the middle of the map.
