Too bad the game keeps disabling the mod every time you enter the game. but a doubt the VTEC of your mod has sound?
So, after about half a year, I hoped that with this update of the mod, the mod deactivation issue would be fixed (at this point it may well be a feature of the mod), but nope, it still auto deactivates when restarting the game. I do have some experience troubleshooting stuff in the BeamNG platform (some successful, some not so successful) so It's very likely that I tried what you are thinking, but regardless I will list what I 100% remember doing (It's been months, sorry I don't remember everything I tried) not in order; Unsubscribe-Subscribe from the repository, deep cache, reinstalling BeamNG, deactivating every mod, deactivating every mod that is not made by R4NKING, safe mode, uninstalling steam's BeamNG and Installing a pirated version (so It doesn't connect online), downloading the mod outside of the in-game repository, placing the mod outside of the repo file, changing the mod file name, among more that I don't remember, and I did try every combination of them possible, literally. I had an excel to crosscheck everything and after over two months I finished trying every combination and nothing worked, after all of that I didn't even have a single clue about the cause, so I deleted the excel out of pure frustration and forgot about it and the mod until today. At this point, I don't give a fuck who's fault it is (I remember a long time ago you trying to contact dev support because something on BeamNG's side might have been the cause), I'm done. Unless I see an update of this mod that explicitly says mod deactivation fixed, this mod doesn't exist to me anymore. And it really fucking sucks for me, because I had so much fun when It worked properly, it was everything I could ask for and more, by far my favorite mod ever (hence why I put so much effort into making it work properly again), but now I'm so frustrated about it, that If it ever works properly again, it's likely that I won't be fun for me anymore .
Yep your mods are now happily maried. And btw where can i find the post you made about the mod disable problem, cant seem to find my way around the forms...
Okey thats good now. Renamed every Part in the Turbo everything mod to get it fixed. About the mod disable Problem i didnt wrote a New Post i wrote the staffs With the mod support
How can i upgrade the displacement? The v16 has just 8.9l Max. But in automatation there is 21l maximum.
great mod, also i just make a habit out of re-enabling the mod every time i play not the biggest deal in the world, but i do want to let you know of an issue when i put the v8 into the roamer, it'll shut off but still be idling, and when you hit the accelerator it engages the starter. if you shut it off manually and start it up the starter cranks it to like 2k-3k rpm. if you can't replicate this i can send a video example if need be. thanks!
Hi hope this finds you well I'm a long time user of this mod and can say it is a massive game changer even more so when i add other cars to the config list to play offline with, I do however have a suggestion that I think would be the icing on the cake for this mod. eternal wastegate / screamer pipe options this has been a long time request and I've tried to do this myself but dont have the know how to do so and this mod here is in my opinion the best platform for this suggestion
select the v16 engine, and when changing the parts in that engine you'll have a choice for engine block. this is where you can change the displacement to whatever you want.
So with the screamer pipe you would mean that the engine/exhaust gets louder if the targeted boost is reached? and what do you mean with eternal wastegaste? that flutter like sound while accelerating when boost is reached?
I think external wastegate and screamer pipe are the same thing in Stig's comment. As you said, the exhaust gets louder - basically the turbocharger's wastegate would be connected to a straight pipe instead of going back to the normal exhaust, creating a much louder and much more aggressive sound once the targeted boost is reached
Yeah i understand. technically with the things i got from Beamng, no i cant make that. But because its pretty simple i might could write something in lua, but i'm not that good in lua programming. With that Type of lua i maybe also could change the sound/make engine louder when you have VTEC.
