Bruckell Bastion

Two more wrong details: the Bastion has no Strut Bar at all and it's also got no Oil Pans shown in the Parts Selector.

 

I've always had this odd "beamNG lore theory" that after the early 90s, Bruckell dissolved and faded away with the sands of time. Well, this awesome machine proves me wrong. I'm happy.

 

Counting all Gavril cars including ones from rigs of rods, Gavril still alive

 

Is it just me or the windows are invisible from the inside?

 

i took the "scat pack" (6.5 v8) version of the car, twin turbo, shaved a lot of weight and shit and it did a 8.3 at like 170 something. gotta get it to launch right to get the 7

make the transmission work a little smoother and "smarter", custom sounds for the engines, and thats pretty much it that i could see for tweaks. love the car. to me it seems more based off the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing than a Charger or whatever. For the transmission i think the shifting can be smoother, faster, and "smarter". how a Hellcat transmission would work. on demand gear dropping to do a pull. feel like it takes too long to get going in any of the configs. cruising at 50-60mph and it takes super long for it to drop a few to get up and go when you hold her wide open (on the "smarter/faster" part of my thoughts). also when you launch it from a stop it stutters big time on any performance mode. could use some smoothing out. then finally new engine sounds for it. obviously that takes time. other than that love the car, new favorite. oh another thing its a pain to add drag wheels to it. funky wheel sizes for it to work. whatever thats all i got for it.

 

For the transmission, you can get the @default0.0player automatic shift logic mod and copy the coding from the ETK 8A transmission. The improvement is incredible

 

Noticed two more glitches!

1) The Sport 5.7 variant with the 8-Speed Automatic, although it shares the same 5.7 V8 with the Luxe variants, still has the 2.62:1 rear diff ratio while the Luxe 5.7 variants (both the RWD and AWD) have the 3.07:1 one, giving them a more lively acceleration. In comparison, the automatic Sport 5.7 variant feels a bit sluggish with the 2.62:1 ratio and this shouldn't be the case.
2) In the Luxe 5.7 AWD variant, for some reason, the hazard lights don't turn on when the car comes to a halt after emergency braking.

 

how come the performance exhaust tips *only* fit right with the performance rear bumper? They clip everything else. they look and sound cool but they would look cooler if they at least didn't clip with the rear bash bumper.

I'd say the opposite. Cars are made to deform, so they absorb more impact. But still, the Bastion deformed more than it probably should of.

I definitely see Ghibli in there. Maybe it is just the general shape and proportions of it. But being a brit, I saw that straight away, not Charger, as we don't have them over here

One more wrong detail:

Should anyone wish to add AWD and choose the tallest possible axle diff ratios, they'll find out that the front differential can have the 2.56 ratio as the tallest ratio and the rear differential can have the 2.62 one. The 2.62 ratio isn't an option for the front diff, just like the 2.56 isn't an option for the rear one.

 

I just noticed that Bastion don't have tyre pressure icon on the dashboard.

There are some ratios unavailable on either front or rear axles. 2.52 is front only and both 2.62 and 3.70 are rear only. have no Idea why, but I added those ratios for the missing axles and i'm fine.
