Where was the Redblock Volvo built? Can't find it on google search, figured one of you guys would know.
I guess it's better for me to reply here since the reply is not on topic with BeamNG's powertrain Pretty standard doesn't mean ethically right. I heard of more lies. An off-road vehicle(I forgot about the make and model) that has fake oil pressure gauge, which only has a single reading, or zero reading, effectively an oil warning light. You can tell by the absence of movement from after engine started. When engine is cold the oil is more viscous, the oil pressure is higher, load the engine too hard can cause oil to overpressure, which isn't indicating on the "oil pressure" gauge. This is outright scam imho. Do they also fake the TPMS showing an exact constant pressure when the tire is not sufficiently deflated? More like manufactures' white washing. The actual reason is to make customers overconfident with their vehicles' cooling capability. Most customers will buy liar's vehicle because they believe the honest vehicle's cooling system is worse. IIRC, the coolant overheat warning light also serves as coolant level below minimum light. Is there any aftermarket device that connects the coolant temp gauge directly to the sensor? EDIT: I found this. In this world full of lies, if you don't have sufficient knowledge about what you use, you'll get scammed sooner or later. It's only a matter of time. Living is this society is like dodging bullets all the time, being knowledgeable increase the chance of a successful dodge. However, no matter how knowledgeable you are, you will get hit by bullets sooner or later, which is, indeed, frustrating.
As someone who has lost an engine to the tune of $5K because the car didn't have an oil pressure gauge, only a light that briefly flickers after the rod bearings are already dead, this is one of the evilest things I can imagine doing to a car.
Am I the only one that almost gets hit by oncoming drivers at least once a month? Is it something about the red car that makes people go "target acquired"?.. I swear half this island needs their license revoked... /rant
My parents are getting one of those. A 2021 Hyundai i20 with a 1.2L engine. Goes like 110mph (170kph) 0-60mph in 13 seconds. But at least we have enough headroom at the back for me. We are getting it in these colors. It could have been worse, we could have kept our 2013 peugeot 107. At least our new Hyundai has cruise control
It looks less ugly than the ICE version from the front, but still ugly overall. I just wish this stupid SUV trend would die. A car should have elegance... aerodynamics.... if I want to drive a tank I join the army.
I really, really dislike its wheels. Wheel rims are getting larger and larger in diameter, tire sidewall is getting thinner and thinner, which is quite, let's say, ricey. This set of wheels is anything but useful, especially in an SUV, sport utility vehicle. Hit a curb with this and damage the rim or even worse, suspension. Drive over uneven terrain, shake shake shake poor shock absorption due to heavier unsprung weight of the large rim. Climb over a rock, even a smaller one with low speed, and you can get tire deflation.
Thats still too expensive. I can cut out the rear of our peugeot 107 and put a flatbed with sidewalls on it and it will cost us (including price car and price cutting the rear out and actually everything on it) 5000 dollars or so
