Update Speculation thread

Man, this kinda brings the possibility of having first FIA gt3/gt2 or maybe gt4 homologation in the game.
SBR4 could get this kind of love as well, if its remastered in the same update.

 

this new civetta NEEDS a v10 or +
i dont care which it is, as long as its between v10, v12, and v16.

this game has so many v8, i really cannot be bothered to see another v8. im sick and tired of em.

cmon guys. do more variety. please. this game is dying to see more engine variety.

It's certainly a new Civetta model but ok, doesn't have to be called the Bolide. After all, real-life supercar succession always brings a new name with it.
Also, I'd like this car to have a high revving V12. After all, BeamNG is missing such engines for spicing up the official content variety!

V8s are very nice on their own but yeah, something with 10 or 12 or even 16 cylinders would be great for expanding the content!

What about 1.6l V6 F1 engine as Merc AMG One with four electric motorsD

 

It will get 8.1 cylinders

 

V9 engine

 

Imagine a VR9. Like an I8 but with one more cylinder, kind of like i4 vs. VR5.

There are V5 engines (and they have an extremely small V angle for that matter) so a V9 could also be made. But V5s sound like Inline-4s, so it's best to stay away from them.

 

would a v9 sound like an inline 8?

 

Interesting concept but, sound-wise, a V8, a V10 and a V12 are miles more impressive!

 

1 cylinder to power the A/C compressor while parked in a hot parking lot or at a traffic light, like the solar panel on a 3rd gen Prius.

 

Honestly it would be a pretty awesome way to introduce hybrids in the game

 

Don't know. Inline-8s sound like V8s though, so I'd easily want an Inline-8 powered car!
