way off? we dont even know what kind of car it will be... i tried to match the concept art as close as possible but it is a rear view... translating that into a front side view isnt as trivial as it seems... THe Proportions i tried to achive are somewhere inbetween lambo and ferrari. I takes the shorter nose of a lamborghini and combines it with the further back greenhouse of a ferrari.
Of course I never assumed this is gonna make it to be the official car, don't get me wrong on this one. It's just that the rear view you did was indeed nice but the front sketch looks very weird proportionally, don't know how to put it.
I think he's just referring to the drawing in general, because it looks kinda off like the roof is kinda like unrealistically thick the doors are unrealistically small in relation to the rest of the car the nose is unrealistically short headlights are too small in relation to the car this probably makes no sense, but the transition from the roof to the rear part of the car we saw in the teaser tuesday is a bit too angled (I tried explaining this as best as I could lol) and then the roof scoop thingy (if that's what that is) is way too curvy in relation to the rest of the car's sharp styling i'm assuming that you tried drawing a supercar, and it just looks kinda off as a supercar it's a cool drawing though, don't get me wrong
The drawing looks pretty nice, the only problem was the nose, it's too short and high, the whole car looks better with a longer and lower nose I'm not criticizing, I just wanted to prove my point, good job mate it's a cool drawing
It's a bit cluttered, especially with that roof scoop, The front facia is beautiful in concept, but has been morphed stubby. B-pillar rearwards it is wonderful.
This is the Update Speculation Thread, not the "criticize other peoples fan art" thread. Back on topic, please.
No, we aren't. We are telling some random dude who made a quick fan art sketch of a car that we have only seen the rear-end of in a digital drawing so far that the proportions in his drawing are "all wrong," how the roof is "too thick," and how the doors are "too short and stubby". It is just a thing @esesel made of what he thought the car would look like. He isn't on the dev team, unfortunately. I think that he would make for a great vehicle concept artist, though!
I apologize if I came off like that, I was just trying to explain to esesel what mcbeamer meant by his post, I didn't mean for it to come off as rude or criticizing esesel's artistic abilities, and I don't think mcbeamer meant that either although you are correct, we should return to at the very least more game related speculation
I'm sorry, I thought you were the one who said it looked bad. My bad. Anyway, you're right, let's get back to update speculation. We can all agree that this car is not coming in 0.25, right? If I had a guess it would probably come out in 0.27 if all goes well and the car is made in beamng. When does everyone else think the car will come out? Also, slightly different speculation, but what do y'all think they are going to do when 0.30 rolls around? Will they number it like I just did, or will they keep it, because 0.30 simplifies to 0.3 (the original release of the game).
Nah, 0.27 is a little late I think. My guess would be 0.26 or between 0.26 and 0.27. As for 0.30, I would hope that career mode would be out by then. In a presentation video in summer 2021, I believe they said that career mode was 2 years off. (Please correct me if I am wrong about this)
Build numbers in software development don't work like regular numbers; 0.30 isn't the same as 0.3. The point isn't a decimal place, rather it's a way of denoting version levels.
i'm thinking if this thing is getting some GT3-esque config, it's possible that the SBR might be also getting its "S2R" trims with the adaptive suspension (and maybe an F6 engine?).
