Hello guys!
My name is Bifdro (aka Blue Civetta Bolide on discord) and today I would like to introduce my WIP map: Rocky Coast USA!
I have been working on this map for nearly 1 year! In this thread I will post WIP updates (about the development)

The map contains missions, time trials, off-road trails, railway,rally stage, a racetrack, a town and more!

What is the map's size?

RCUSA is as large as Small Island USA (a bit larger).

Every comment, feedback is welcome here, however I already have a tester who helps me in testing the map.

At the moment it's not PBR however it would be very good to have PBR in future

 

This looks like it has lots of potential, and congrats on the staff pick! I just have a few suggestions if you're willing to take them:

If you have the opportunity, you should definitely ask permission from Occam for assets from Garfield Heights (especially houses), because they would definitely fit the feel of the Rocky Coast.

You should also try to add a lot of houses that are near roads (not sure if you're planning to do it already or not) and not just near towns or neighborhoods, because it's one thing that ECUSA is kind of lacking, if you plan on making your map similar to it.

I also feel like despite being a rocky coast with lots of foliage/vegetation, there should still be some areas where the trees are not as close to the roads.

Most of these suggestions are just based on the east coast in real life (from Google Maps specifically), and I understand that you're still in development of the map, so do the best you can with what you got

Today I (nearly) finished the dirt trail (to the radio tower)!

good idea! Sadly I have to learn about scenario-making yet

 

Could you try and put down road edges? It's a decal road, except it's 2m wide and with said road edge material

Nevermind, i see it xd

 

Is there supposed to be grass underwater everywhere?

Also, when you drive on dirt in some places, water splashes (and sound) appear.
