Besides a texture update I think Italy needs a forest and foliage overhaul. The wooded areas are extremely barebones and barely have any roads going through them, and the trees/bushes are really showing their age compared to more recent content.
I just saved over the Lead Sled configuration with one with the regular Burnside wheel. The default wheel is so heinous and completely anachronistic.
The wentward is still a pretty new vehicle (2018): I personally do not think it needs a full revamp, what it needs is parts separated into more slots. JBEAM is good, model is good, textures are good.
Anachronistic it ain't, it's just too much "2000s Japanese tuning" in aesthetic to suit the car, so it looks heinous. --- Post updated --- A couple of months back though, just before the 0.24 Update, we saw a 3-axle version with a steerable rear axle and a longer body. When its remastering time comes, this variant will certainly enter the BeamNG lore.
Not talking about this one! There's a certain site a couple of members in here discovered and it has some pictures of what was about to be part of the 0.24 Update and what is designed/planned for the future! I don't remember its name though! Here's one picture of the remastered H-Series this site has.
Guess that you're speaking about Nadeox's Imgur https://nadeox1.github.io/ Anyway, I'm 99.99999999 % sure that on this pic he was using the mod I mean, even if the were remastering the Wentward, they wouldn't tease it like this, clearly, on a path and not on an official account
Yep, that's what I'm talking about, I remembered the pics!!! Seems legit the way you put it, tbh. Looks like the pics of the remastered new Pessima and H-Series blurred my vision a bit about the Wentward. 666th comment of mine!
I am really Curious if the Devs have a plan in wich order they remaster vehicles. Because by this point there is no obvious system behind it. But i think the cars with lack of content will be first. And remember that the devs do Maps+cars+remaster of cars at the same time. i am impressed tbh. My speculation: Cars that lack content: Autobello Piccolina Bruckell Moonhawk Gavril Barstow Burnside Special Gavril T-series Ibishu Hopper Ibishu Miramar ETK 800-series Cars with good content: Ibishu Pessima 1988 Hirochi SBR-series Hirochi Sunburst Ibishu 200bx (maybe give him more factory parts) Cars that i cant really categorize: The Bus. Ibishu Covet Gavril GM ETK-K-series (I exclude the ETK I-series because it is my favourite car and i probably wouldnt be objective. It needs more aftermarket content tho...)
i know this doesnt apply to the current update but individual engine parts such as ECUs have their own written value as of right now, so as to stretch over a caRPG system.
I think the next update will have a remaster to the covet, as you can see in the microblogs forum page, at development media.
It's purely how you're meant to see it. I'm part of the ones who thinks BeamNG are one of the best devs teams and I'm indeed really hyped about the covet remaster. It was more of a joke but if you wanna see it as some kind of critic, it would actually be against the community who's talking about Moonhawk, 200bx, covet and not the Burnside Special. I'm not saying neither that devs work shouldn't be aprecciated (cause it is), but if you're in that position (and you probably know it as a modder too), people is always gonna complain about something and it shouldn't be always taken serious.
