Well, imagine that the splitshaft is a clutch that connects the the front axle into the rear axle (with it being constantly connected to the transmission). Usually it locks automatically depending of the situation. For example, the Bastion in Savage mode, has a minimum lock coefficient of 0.25, which means that the clutch is at least 25% engaged. When it reaches 100%, it behaves like a locked center diff. Usually it fully disengages when the TPS is 0, so, if your rear wheels are stuck, you have to give at least some throttle for the clutch to engage the minimum amount. With that system, the front wheels are only connected to the rear axle when you have some throttle in, so handbrake turns are possible.
That is true for the Clutched splitshafts. Viscous splitshafts work differently.

So, it wouldn't make sense if the coefficient reaches over 100%?

Nope. You can't engage more a fully engaged clutch. When it is on 100% you have a 50-50 torque split, anything below it, you'll have your car sending more torque to the rear wheels. The front wheel torque is defined by the clutch friction, and the lock torque. Also, that is a minimum value. It can probably reach 100% anyway if needed (I don't know if you can set a maximum limit below 100%)

You'd probably be better off using a Hopper, since this is the new Defender and Doug's is an older model

And the latest update is here! :)

    screenshot_2022-02-28_22-16-39.png
    • Added Land Rover Trophy config
      • Accurate to the real spec car as possible, including equipment
      • Added Camel Trophy livery as an alternative config (thanks to @lukastoh)
    • Spare wheel improvements:
      • Now off-road tires can be fitted to the spare wheels as an option (standard tires by default, except in the specific configs in which off-road is standard instead)
      • Locked the selection of wheel covers/wheels to their respective holder, to avoid using the wrong one and having floating wheels among other issues
      • Fixed some configs lacking a spare wheel
    • Added back missing standard 22" tires
    • Improved rear smoked fog light color
    • Revised tuning values of both off-road and race suspension (thanks to @dumpling)
    • Configuration changes to 'Bowler', 'Off-road Extreme', and "X P400 Off-road" configs (thanks to @dumpling)

Thanks, but everything you are reporting is on your side due to old cache files, please delete the mod, clean your cache and any leftover folders/files related to the mod, and download the latest version. That config not even exists anymore as such (Is now a D250)

I'm so glad that I found this mod! It's awesome. One thing that I have noticed is the brakes really suck. Especially on the lower and mid trim models to the point that the ABS doesn't even need to engage to prevent locking up. I feel like the braking power definitely should be improved.

Many of the configs have spare wheel covers that are not body-colored, which is not realistic. I didn't find any options of spare wheel covers of any specific color, so I will revise the configs later.

Just a suggestion for what it's worth. A lot of newer SUV/4x4 vehicles have the different drive modes that not only change the way the vehicle rides and also the way diffs lock but also change the ride height. A late model Grand Cherokee I drove was like this. Any way to link the air suspension ride height to the drive modes?

Floor it in M1 gear, turning while using Low Range, and you get this.

Why do you want splitshaft and RWD? The Defender is permanent AWD(center differential & computer-controlled locking mechanism)
