WIP Beta released 1987-1991 Ibishu Saga 1.15

I've found the driveline visualizer thing to be a bit weird. Unless you are breaking traction it's not putting enough power to the front to have any effect so it's more like the front is free wheeling. the 2% front bias has to do with a limitation of the game. I would prefer it was 0% but then the game won't transfer power to the front at all. It was a very rough way to try to emulate nissans ATTESA system in a purely mechanical way. The ATTESA system would probably appear very similar in the visualizer as with the it disengaged the front wheels, CV's, differential and driveshaft are all being pushed by the rear wheels until the transfer case clutches are engaged.

 

Sorry for reviving this topic, but I just now noticed that the automatic transmission selector has a strange functioning, retreating to the center console when in "2" or "1".

I didn't find this reported in previous posts. I also don't know if the author is still working on this MOD, which is one of the best.

 

Because if you open the alignment debugging app it outputs a 18deg caster reading. A car like this would be served well between 7-9deg of caster. Even 10 is enough for a drift built. 18deg is absolutely overkill. I'm not here to hate on this mod. I this it's great. I'm not sure how to provide anymore data on this memory leak but it's consistent between me and my friends when we make tons of edits using it in a short time, eventually the ram will reach levels that aren't consistent with other vehicles in the game under the same condition.. and it'll continue to exceed normal levels until it explodes.

 

Has anyone else had a problem with no texture headlights?

 

BeamNG's powertrain system is ridiculously complex to the point only a few people know the gist of it, i.e default0.0player or Diamondback.

Still, it's extreme in-depth simulation of certain things like torque splitting on AWD drivetrains is something I really, really like.

the caster levels i cant be assed to fix right now because i dont know if the app is outputting a false reading because of some jbeam issue in the rest of the geometry
the memory leak thing ive never once experienced in my testing among me and everyone else with beta access, though ive had my game crash in the past using other cars after making too many edits in quick succession.

what is this car supposed to be based off of? or is it an original design?

 

Its almost completely based on the 3rd gen honda prelude, the only difference is the rear wheel drive drivetrain. It even shares the original 4 wheel steering.

imho i'd guess it's more of an subaru XT coupe from 1985. Exterior wise it's closer to prelude but interior and powertrain is towards subaru

 

its Acura Legend coupe, 3rd gen Prelude, and Subaru XT

The mod is slightly broken and that is a known issue.
