Combine that with a monthly subscription to play online and loads pf microtransactions you get a console that gets expensive very quick.

What nascar heat does is calculate how hard you hit something and then flip through a preset set of meshes for damage. What beamng does is calculate every surface and material of the car, as well as gravity, aerodynamics, friction, etc etc. it uses all of that information to accurately transfer forces across the entire car structure, not just bend the panels. This game is a crap ton more complicated than people realize, it’s not just making some dents in panels it’s simulating basically every part of a car.

Well yes, but it’s a modified version of windows. It still requires a ton of work, just less than other systems. You also have to remember that once you have a game ported over, you need to make the user experience workable as well. New controls, UI, and probably no mods because of Microsoft restrictions

 

on lowest-low settings just about yeah. Need to turn it onto performance mode in HP Command Centre (to give the APU 25w) and be on the latest graphics drivers, but it will.
