Videos ****************************************** Release notes ****************************************** Tested on 0.35.5 Ver 5.3: -Fixed police not pursuing Ver 5.0: -No more needed to use steering wheel, it can be driven with keyboard and it can stop without falling!! Ver 4.4: - Added autothrottle algorithm to allow tight turns - Added Trevor rider - Supported 0.31.1 game version Ver 3.0: - Added customizable license plate (set yours in Parts menu) - Added two points of view: left side (key 6) and driver view (key 7) - Added soldering strength in Tuning menu, to control how easy parts will detach when crashing - Fixed auto shift RPMs issues with Race model - Fixed Stig exploding in high impacts - Optimized wheels deformation reducing spikes - Refactored Parts menu Ver 2.2: - improved wheeler feature to reduce wobbles Ver 2.1: - improved PID (steering) algorithm and fixed low speed wobbles - added support for keyboard/controllers with Parts/Front steering/Input method menu setting Ver 2.0: -added coupler nodes to frame and drivers so that they can be spawned as separate vehicles. This is a workaround for YT video creators to overcome the well know BeamNG "too-difficult-to-fix" defect of Replay app that makes detached parts to awfully flicker during replay -cleaned up the folder and removed unused .mtl files Technical section ****************************************** Here I will provide some technical extents on how I implemented the bike. I think the most interesting part is the front suspension, that AFAIK has never been done using sliding nodes, at least in public bikes. This is the front axle jbeam structure. It is made by a structure that defines a rectangle, with the bottom nodes having collision=false. This is because at the bottom it is anchored the sliding box grabbing the wheel, when this box goes up compressing the suspension, the bottom part must not make friction on the ground. 1) and 2) are the structures for the two fork holders, in between they anchor to the frame 3) two nodes of the sliding box, the other 2 nodes are opposite 4) this is a small structure to embed the brake pad mesh 5) between thse nodes I put the suspension springs and dampers Here you can see how the front forks are attached to the frame. 1) this is the frame structure 2) this is the fulcrum node to whom the forks structure is attached, being a unique node, the whole fork structure will turn around it, realizing the steer 3) and 4) are hydros driven by code in a LUA file: there is a PID algorithm that compress/expand the hydros making the proper steering. All these nodes do have collision=false so that the sliding box can go up/down while turning
For some reason I thought this was a helicopter mod but regardless it's still very cool and unique. And yes, I do realize that this is the land section, and I still didn't realize that an American Chopper meant a motorcycle
A Chopper is a nickname for a modified motorcycle typically featuring tall handlebars and a long fork
Yeah I already knew that, must've forgotten and my mind still just pointed to helicopter for some reason
Stop crying over a stupid mod. It takes a long time to make these mods and sometimes they feel they should get paid for their efforts.
Well, its not, He has said he has put over 150 hours into this, if you put that much time into one of your mods would you hand it out for free?
well i agree on that --- Post updated --- yes because i would do the mod for the community and not for paying members and now END of conversation it is what it is
yes becau nope i would still give it away for free and i dont plan to do a mod ever im not interested in modding but i give respect to everyone that is modding
You give respect to modders yet you say this to a modder bruh thats so uncool to release a mod that you have to pay for what the hell
