Beautiful. Perhaps you might also want to add Traintracks, even if its just for a short area on the map, it surely owuld fit. but of course only if so, if not then leave it

 

Yeah, maybe like a shortline railroad with spur tracks branching out to service different industries.

This might be a long shot but are there any plans to overhaul the current trails around the map? Even driving through the swamps there are no surprises (deep rut, tires in a water hole, sudden drop or just random stuff in the water), these trails lack "character", I think a lot of people who drive ATV's/4x4's would agree. Most of the trails I have driven in the real east coast(New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina) were littered with the stuff I just mentioned, even what some people call "braking bumps", which are essentially a series of small or large bumps in a road either man-made or caused by vehicles breaking contact or traction, were all over the place on the hard packed trails. Just a suggestion to give the map you are working on a little bit more character, but understandable if it is too much

 

i love the idea of the round-about!! maybe you should put a neighborhood with cookie-cutter houses

 

On top of that, maybe expand the town out some, you know... give it more houses and roads.

This is looking fantastic so far! Would it support PBR terrain?

 

Currently 80% of the stuff around the map has PBR support (houses, sidewalks, bridges, trees, etc), but i can't add support to the actual terrain since i dont have that knowledge yet so for now i will just change the textures.

 

Nice, I think thanks to Grass and Bushes on top, that won't be really noticeable

 

Is it possible to modify the farmhouse and making it into a real farm? Would love to see that especially at East Coast.

 

Hello everyone, It's update o'clock!!
Considering the amount of suggestions i've got from you guys which is huge, i decided to work only on a few ones this update, so without any more words added, i'd like to thank you all for taking your time and writing your suggestions here!

• Changelog:

-added a junkyard in the town
-added an abandoned off-road track
-added a castle that can be seen from the town and also has view to it. (It has a ramp so you can jump on it or park there and take a picture of the beautiful view)
-a better looking car dealer has been added instead of that boring building that was there before in the town
-moved the car repair shop in the town near the fire station
-added an abandoned airstrip
-added more hidden stuff around the map
-added PBR support for all the stuff around the map (buildings, bridges and different items)
-changed the asphalt texture
-fixed some texture issues that occured after importing all these assets.
I will also leave a sneak peek at the end for a future update that will come after the beta release ofc since it will take a lot of work and time!

• Things i'm currently working on for the future update:

-a high-end neighborhood
-reworking the farmhouse again and trying to make it look like a real one with typical surrounding environment
-adding more lonely houses around the map
-adding water drainage systems in some areas
-adding more abandoned/old/rusty/etc. stuff around the map
-replacing some buildings/houses in the town.

Ohh mee gawd, it's only getting better! Played too many hours in Beam and the maps are getting boring. This looks proper quality
