Update Speculation thread

Oh wow, this game is looking better and better

Er I don't want to do or to say something absolutely wrong, and I really don't want this thread to set the "Wen relez" Mode, but last update, what was the latency between the moment we found some stuff on Nadeox's Imgur and the actual release ? Not that long if I remember... So maybe today, we'll have a teaser to confirm that the update's near, who knows ?

 

At this point, this update can come any year, any month, any day, any min or any sec.

 

there's a 90% chance it'll be according to either the existing 3-month or 12-month schedule.

 

Ohohoh, this is nice. I remember when we found the imgur leaks before 0.24 they were both, a) pretty much a dead ringer of what we could expect, and, b) we found them only a few weeks before the update. So, as @Leroux83 said, if we get a teaser today, it all but confirms the update is near. The big difference is that last update, it had been confirmed we were getting the H-series and pessima remaster but now, it hasn’t been confirmed we’re getting the supposed revamped police configs. It would make sense though, with the bolide and bastion getting highly detailed police configs, with new dashboards and such. Anyways, has anyone check nadeox’s imgur? I believe we found more leaks there as well.

Seems like acouple of the devs havent used their beamng accounts since late february. Vacation perhaps? Working hard as usual and not cheking the forums as franticly as we do?

 

or maybe they are busy making a new update?

 

its probably what they are doing, they could also be on vacation like someone else said but they really need it

 

I think this is a good time as ever, to remind everyone:

Imgur albums are inofficial, and don't confirm anything. Devs often also post their screenshots of game mods (forum mods or their own) as well, since it's simply their photo collection. Also, last time actual content leaked through Imgur, if I'm not mistaken, it turned out to be by mistake. I doubt they'll repeat the same mistake twice.

The reflections in those pictures looks beautiful, by the way. PBR is amazing.

But even if we mustn't consider those pics like we consider official teaser, I still think that it's interessant to look at them sometimes...

Anyway, those police stuffs are looking really officials, and it would be a huge coincidence to have some new police interiors/lights on the last update's revamped vehicles (+ in the game files if I don't say anything wrong) and a dev posting some images of a mod having the exact same utility on his Imgur...

The latest recent teaser was the rally bolide which came 10 minutes from now which I don't personally see happening. There's still about 3-5 weeks left till the update anyway which gives enough time for some more good teasers

 

The devs typically release a big in-game teaser revealing the big features of the update less than a week before the update, so, to put it simply, no teaser today means that Beam will NOT update this week so you can shut up before you start everyone.

 

There may be a chance those lightbars on Imgur are true

These were found in the game's folder a while back, I tried to quote the message but it didn't work. Apparently they are in the common folder.
