    Hello all.
    After getting some experience in my Nissan Terrano project I decided to go back to my old idea of making a japanese bus mod for BeamNG.

    Technically - it just rebaged real Isuzu Erga/Elga.

    Update from 07.12.23
    Repo version is released.
    Additional files HERE

    screenshot_2023-11-26_12-34-27.png screenshot_2023-11-26_12-35-14.png screenshot_2023-11-26_12-26-55.png screenshot_2023-11-26_12-27-34.png screenshot_2023-11-26_12-30-40.png

    Planned versions / Facelifts (not all versions be included in initial release):
    • 2000-2005 "Aero" LV280 with 8PE1 engine (I'm not sure about the option from the photo (I mean window above left headlight), but maybe I'll make it how facelift);
      2021-06-24-05-se91.jpg
    • 2007-2010 (need a clarification) "Aero" LV234 with 6HK1 engine and facelift for this version (based on KV234);

    • 2015-... "Aero" LV290 with 4HK1 engine;
    After this... if I do not "drown" in versions and aftermarket parts, then I will try to make:
    • ...-... "Aero" Limited (based on Scania Volgreen(?));

    • (FICTIONAL) "Aero" SuperAmbulance (based on art what I find in internet, maybe I make it on LV280 base);

    Credits:
    • BeamNG Team - for DT40L jbeam;
    • EJY, igor06krups, justbewilde - for early alpha testing;
    • ATV75 - for some technical consultations;
    • CYCJoseph - for central door JBEAM;
    • jfef - for realistic headlight and foglight light pattern textures;
    • NS_Pro - for help with lua;
    • komeya7 - for real prototype photos and help with japanese text;
    ....not final list...

    Okay, project status changed to WIP.

    In progress frame and suspension (adapted from DT40 on this moment).
    Main problem is lacking of any documentation on original prototype and inability to find this bus IRL for taking photos and etc, but i think all buses have a very similar construction in case of suspension.

    Yes! Looking good!

    you're right most buses and have rigid axles only modern ones have independent suspension but only on the front axle. I'm not familiar with Japanese buses, i don't know if they have didig axles or independent axles, but independent suspension for the front axle would of course be great

    After a long search I couldn't find anything to axles, but this photo shows that the bus probably has an independent wheel suspension in the front, because you can't see any rigid axle.

    After a 2 minute search I found this
    images.jpeg
    I think it is the front suspension since the rear would definitely have a solid axle. So it seems to be IFS.
    Edit: nvm looks like solid axle too when I looked at it for longer time so idk
