Just got this little D-5. My first midsize in BeamNG. It has a 4.5 V6, it packs a bit of power for it's size. In all, not a bad little truck. It does need work though.
I found the guy that makes the 6X6s. mines been perfect for the couple of hours I've been using it. (you will NEVER guess what map this is. its a mod)
I sort of got bored of my truck, so I sold it, and im planning to buy a beater truck and then fix it and modify it all again
For the past week I've been working on a huge project for my truck: a crew cab swap. Definitely the largest project so far. I got another crew cab truck and pretty much just used the cab and frame from it, everything else came from the original. How do ya like it?
It's been months, maybe even years, since I bought this used military grade Gavril Reclaimer as my project truck. Originally I got it in a terrible shape, it looked like it was used in real military operations, only the hood was still usable (it was really good in fact, just a bit dirty and the grille had fallen off). The frame, cab, engine, suspension, everything important had to be trashed. I started rebuilding it from scratch, using Gavril T-Series and D-Series parts from the local junkyard, which I modified the same way as they would do it at the factory (they produced next to no custom parts for it to save money, only modified their existing spare parts, and the hood was actually produced by Brutus and delivered ready in bulk to Gavril). Some of my parts are a bit rusty, but nowhere near as bad as the original ones I bought. Recently I mounted the hood on the truck, and fitted stretched crawler tires on it instead of T-Series tires. It drives now, although it lacks a steering wheel and pedals, so you have to use cables and a wrench to drive. I need to finish it eventually, or else it will feel like I wasted my money on that hood.
