First project on which I'll practice doing hq mods)

So, here it is - tube chassis racecar with Covet drivetrain

Ibishu saw the success of the Civetta's Tracktoy and they wanted to make a car like or better than the Tracktoy. When choosing a platform for the car, they settled on the Covet because it was light, small and its engine tuned well.

On this car I'll learn how to do textures and Jbeam, so chances that this car will be high quality are low)

So are you stuffing a Bolide 3.9L V8 Race engine into a Covet body?, I like the thinking behind it

 

For now will be only Covet 2L in front, but in future updates I want to add pigeon small engine, 3.9L Bolide in back and 6.0 Diesel from D-Series in back)

For those who do not quite understand what it will be - The idea is to make a tubular frame like in Bolide TrackToy, but based on Covet. In theory, it should be not very powerful, super light racing car

Enough room in the back to fit a giant D-Series diesel)

 

I think the addition of the 3.9L V8 would be fun, if you could, maybe have it tuned to hit something wild like 11,000rpm or more make it into a real banshee of an engine

I can do like in my Bolide mod, Race block which can handle 11k+rpm but it cant handle turbos.

 

Haha Turbos are overrated (kidding obviously but still), give it pure Natural and it will be fine!

 

1.6 NA race engine from 90's can push 240hp, 150hp per liter (YES Initial D reference)
So we get 585hp for 3.9 V8 and 630hp for its 4.2L bored wersion. 600hp for car that might weight lower than 750kg is good
