As the devs like to implement new features to the BeamNG almost every update, it can be blockbuster feature of the update as well as complex aerodynamics for Civetta And I agree, Covet Tercel wagon or Sedan would certainly spice up the lineup. It's certain that there will also prolly be a R5 turbo homologated spec street Version, MR covet baby!
Maybe a date is wrong, but for me it was correct, kind of messy to find the date of the old maps since the dev blogs and all this tend to disappear/be hidden by new stuff.
First thing I thought was… why? There’s obviously not a use for it and I don’t think it’s possible to access it so why is it still here. Another thing, I noticed that the file sizes of the maps aren’t in the image. Now, I might just be crazy but I feel this means we’re getting a map remaster because if a map gets remastered, file size changes, right? If we weren’t, he could possibly just show the file sizes. But there’s a high chance that I’m just being like that one crazy guy with board meme.
I'm with everyone else in saying that ETK's release date is wrong on the timeline. It was released in October of 2016, alongside the then-new campaign system. Two campaigns were released in said update: Senseless Destruction and Driver Training. ETK was newly added to host the latter.
I think we should get back on speculating on information we have. For starters we know that: 1. were getting a new civetta 2. remastered covet 3. considering its a milestone update we could expect maybe one new remaster or car/new map or map remaster (or pbr)
well to respond that we need to know exactly when the 0.7 update came out --- Post updated --- some say 4 October 2016
Nobody really said we are getting the new civetta. The car looked very early in development a month ago. We don’t really have anything to speculate about anymore. A new map is very unlikely because we haven’t gotten any teasers on it. --- Post updated --- The update is probably going to be in 1-3 weeks judging by their usual timeframes.
We don't know if the devs are working on the longer timespan dev cycle we had for the last update, or if they've gone back to the old and more frequent dev cycle.
I don't have an exact quote for this, but the devs have said that the 6-month cycle was only for .24.
It's not just what some people say, it's literally what it says on the devblog. I don't know how this even a topic of debate. https://www.beamng.com/game/news/patch/alpha-version-0-7-released/
i really wish that this forum was a better place. it used to be nice back when the game was still in its early infancy (2014~2018 era). this forum was created for and didn't really deviate from just a bunch of nerds talking to each other about their daily lives and their favorite video game for years. but now, we have a bunch of unnecessary and unwanted passive-aggressive disputes between people who are most likely thousands of miles apart about a version of a video game that came out more than half a decade ago. you aren't "proving" anything when you act like this, you just alienate people. it has been really depressing to see the team beat up by children who are impatient. the moderators have been known to be depressed about this forum for years, and it is just sad.
ah i mightve been thinking of back when gabester was testing with it and only had the frame with no cab, thanks
I’m definitely new here in relation to a lot of you and I can only imagine a time when the forums weren’t all just kids who got the game because “cAr CrAsH gO bRrR.” There are times when this place becomes a shitshow.
after these kids help to pay for the dev of BeamNG so... Just need to get servers and places where there's not these kids.
Really hoping that TDK nails the sound on the supercar. Something that BeamNG lacks is the immersion factor. And sound plays a huge role in that. Mostly everything else they've nailed down, but engine sounds are still lacking in some layouts.
Especially as it should (hopefully) have an engine larger than a V8, which should sound really good if they nail it.
