The update video I linked is from October 4, 2016, and I can't find any playthrough videos of the Senseless Destruction campaign prior to October of that year.

This has been confirmed to be false. IIRC Whybeare made his account look like Gabester's to prevent people from knowing his real account.

oh boy the month without teasers has caused the 'WhyBeAre is Gabester' legend to return...

 

Lmao I need to hear about this.

 

people think WhyBeAre is Gabester because in a video explaining how to get the steam key for beamng to work he used the inspect command online to change his forum acc name to Gabester so that ppl wouldnt know his real acc name, and sort of as a joke to those who use the forums, and it turned into the urban legend that WhyBeAre is Gabester because he was the biggest beamng youtuber for basically its entire golden age, and because he used console commands in alot of his videos, to simulate the wind, change gravity, or edit other in game values before it was easily done through the gui, people probably thought he had access to the game code, and advanced knowledge of its workings. and for the icing on the cake he was incredibly vague and secretive on his life outside of youtube for pretty much his entire career, and since we knew virtually nothing about Gabester either, most people assumed it was the same person....

It went from being a theory few took seriously to a forum wide inside joke that just lot alot of new players didnt get as WhyBeAre began to fade out as BeamNG became more popular

 

At this point I will have to make a special category and trophy about the best legend of BeamNG in the BeamNG Modding Awards 2022 xDDD

no i mean inbetween the hopper and the wentward there was a solid year of no new vehicles, in 2017, which prompted a ton of theories on why there wasnt a new vehicle

The wigeon would have been far more interesting if the frame was inverted, two front wheels one rear wheel.

 

would probably be harder to drive though

 

im sure that can easily be accomplished via the reverse gear

That's the whole point, the Pigeon is hell to drive too, and still it's in the game for some reasons xD.

 

if i recall correctly (and this might be another one of those theories) it originated as a joke vehicle designed for shits and giggles, which is why it was so absurdly stupid in the early versions, with the overpowered 600cc engine that made it a menace to try and drive with the pedal to the metal, in later versions they (in some aspects) made its absurdity a little more tame
