god i forgot this thread even existed. the confusion i felt seeing this suddenly pop up in my notifications...

 

Is it freaking Christmas or something?! I mean, seriously, two of my favorite maps ever, Canyon of Speed and Bonneville have been refreshed for the newest version of the game.

There are times I truly, TRULY love this mod community.

why does it make you spawn on a random hill in the middle of nowhere instead of the actual race strip

The author never changed it for some reason, just shift c and teleport to the road

 

Yeah, that was always wonky about this map, even the old versions. I simply just switch over to the white pickup that *also* spawns with the map, and go from there.

 

Ya'll do realize that there is a seperate vehicle spawned on the map on the race strip......
Just press the Tab button to switch to the other vehicle on the actual strip OR remove current vehicle from vehicle selector

 

I figured that out a week ago when i got a car to chase me down the road and halfway through it a pickup crashed into me out of nowhere lol

this map is great for testing my absurd builds, i got a D series packing a whopping 7466HP to go 411km/h before the engine blew, and i wasnt even finished going through the gears

 

Hello guys, sorry for the outdated map but i'm not playing beamng anymore. For the spawn point, the reason is that i never managed to get the spawn point where it was supposed to be, so I left it there in the air. If someone is capable of fixing it maybe. Thanks for all
