I suggest adding a trim option to help fix cars that veer in one direction.

None of the cars veer in one direction unless you use a keyboard and just floor it so the car just wheelspins off the line which is not how to play the game.
Nope. Trim in regard to controls is a setting that let's you adjust the centre point. Remember the kids toy RC cars that had the little plastic adjustment on the bottom for the steering to make sure it went straight? That was trim.
Very common in aircraft games too, often to fly straight you need to hold the stick back a small amount, instead you trim the stick back a small amount and a centred stick will then be keeping the plane straight as it acts the same as a non trimmed stick being held backwards a little.
Not so common on driving games because it isn't needed at all. Pretty much limited to radio control stuff and aircraft. The hobby style RC vehicles have trim as a setting on the transmitter rather than a mechanical adjustment on the car as with toys.
