Okay, after some experiments with JBEAM I have good and bad news: Good news - 1850kgs is possible (after some edits in frame (-250), suspension (-300) and body (-60)). Bad news - frame weight in this case not similar to IRL (247kg vs 190kg (IRL)). And even in theory - 190kg is almost impossible to achieve (237kg limit before it explodes). Still WIP.
At least you did your best to make it as realistic as possible even with BeamNG game engine limitation.
I'm sure it is possible if you edit the frame enough, the Pigeon has a way lighter frame and it doesn't explode. Maybe you can reduce the amount of nodes or something.
Okay, not ideal 1850, but more better what 2.4t+. Main problem is front wheel hubs is too unstable (technically it unstable and in last released version, but not to much how after all weight/stiffness adjustments), fix to it in progress. Still WIP...
DON'T LOWER THE WEIGHT OF WHEEL HUBS, get it back to where it was, you should never mess with the hubs!! Try reducing the weight of just the frame itself instead.
After some adjustments, I managed to get closer to the real weight values (if take for ideal is 1950kg in maximal complectation). On r3m with 1/2 fuel tank weight on this moment is 1922kg. In the worst case (A / J Limited + full fuel tank) comes out 2005 kg. Problems with hubs almost managed to be solved (it not explodes on this moment). Next in "to do" list - is normal steering (and, i hope, wierd "Toe" fix) and fix for body mounts to frame. PS. From 16-th to 20-th (approximately) develop be stopped because I'm leaving my city for some business.
The Terrano may be slow and crappy But again, slow is fun, which makes this nissan craptastic why? aside from it overheating faster than a popsicle, doing stuff that you arent supposed to in this is very fun 10/10
Does anyone else find that this car in particular tanks the cpu? I have a ryzen 9 5900x and I'm getting stutter and its maxxing out a couple of cores nvm cant replicate it might have just been a one off also upon further testing the d series was also having large cpu usage
Some progress on this moment (sorry for that it took a little longer than I thought (some reason for this IRL)). Almost final weight that I get with acceptable level of JBEAM stress is - 1943kg on standart R3m and 1984kg on Autech versions (with full fuel tank (85L)). Found a reason what cause a wierd camber/toe angles (refnode-s) - fixed. Problem with changeable toe angle when suspension is going up/down is still here, but after consulting about it with ATV75 - more like that it not a issue in JBEAM but more is constructive moment in real car. Put some sounds recorded from real car to it (turning signal and speedchime on 115km/h). Thanks to ATV75. Next in todo - remove a Roamer steering rack and make similar to IRL steering trapezoid + fix body mounts ofc. And (in theory) make doors, hood and tailgate is openable. Stay tuned.
Can this mod also come with the following: Working Radio Working Wipers Working Doors & Windows These are all that I'm asking for; with all due respect, I am looking forward to a response Best regards, Ludio0110
Was toying around this on the CrashHard 2.0 Map and i noticed that the slightest hard landing has a chance to collapse the suspension. Problematic, as i can't get past the first jump on the downhill because the suspension collapses and makes me lose control of the car. I mean that it's a lot easier to break the suspension than on most other cars.
