So, I was wondering if anyone could make a deformable block used for crash testing, Like in IIHS, EuroNcap, etc. I know it works because I saw these images. (Ignore stupid Jsz car). It would be awesome if someone publicly releases something like this! Probably something simpler to make lol. real life pics also to make it even better!

I bet @Agent_Y could whip something up!

looks like since 'stupid Jsz car' is crashing into one, one has already been made

Anybody with basic jbeam knowledge could do it, it's basically a square and a support frame.

Nah the hay bale square is clearly the superior crash testing utility.

Not really it might be too soft

Notepad++. Open the jbeam file of the hay bale square and up the beam deformation value.

You can use the wood planks for this

I probably could, but i don't have time. As for the looks, you just need to swap the model with a similarly sized one. Shouldn't be too difficult either, that's a pretty simple shape. You'd only need blender

Test1 fridges: not bad! But would be better if it was a bit stiffer and in one piece 6/10. test 2 hale bale square is way to damn soft 1/10. Test 3 wood planks, super hard not even deformable 1/10.

You can also try the wood crate, should be easier to deform than wood planks

good idea ill change the stiffness to when I figure it out!

Heres what I want. The crash block just is frozen In midair like @Agent_Y s mincraft block. Also for it to be softer, and a new texture for it to look better.
I also did another test. good idea @CrashHard ! It also lags suspiciously alot when I have the metal cube spawned

You can use material editor in world editor to change the color
