Hi, what are the TFL configs? I searched it and it lead to a dead end. is it some sort of special model?
Good news! After many months, and due to unforeseen circumstances, I was finally able to play Forza Horizon 5, which means I could finally take the OG Defender model to take shots I really needed to compare details... Which means I was also able to make a new update which doesn't contain new parts (next one will for sure) but finally gets certain details right for once and all, so the update is live with a comprensible number of changes and improvements: Finally happy with the holes around the foglights! No more distortion or weird looking bits there anymore Improved rear taillights and CHMSL look with better textures all around both in off/on behavior Added realistic black bezels around the nav screens in both sizes/versions Added back the door latches in the main body Added back roof controls in the overhead console, depending on the config (if it has the panoramic roof or not) the buttons will be present or not (they can be added/removed in the parts editor at any time) Added missing decals in the door sills in both sides Added missing keyhole in the driver's door Added and fixed textures in the engine bay area Polizia config revised with details taken from the official Italian LR configurator (thanks to @dumpling ) Default spare wheel cover color is body-colored since it is the only choice available across every official LR parts (thanks to @dumpling ) Fixed textures in the trunk loading bay area (the number of 'bars' is now way closer to reality) Oil dipstick top (yellow bit) is no longer translucid Solved other painting/texturing issues
Hey guys! I’m the Land Rover fan, and I really appreciate your work! That’s amazing. But I wanna ask you to make air suspension higher, like in the real model. Now it’s too low. Good luck!
Yeah the supposed "off-road" suspension parts are the worst one out of all in terms of off-roading. The air suspension broke second and the coil suspension won. I will have to mess around with the deform & strength to make it strong but making beams stronger isn't always my best ability. Ok I'll see --- Post updated --- I have not encountered this problem, could you please download the newest version, clear cache and try again? --- Post updated --- So I've now updated some things from the suspension; I made the off-road suspension more durable and raised the air suspension further. I'm not sure if the off-road suspension still needs more resilience and the air suspension would get way to stiff if I raise it further. So here's a beta test for anyone who is interested in testing it out. Also, this included a damper update for the air suspension so air suspension should be more comfy
Thank you for saying that, but the suspension is still far from perfect and I am too frustrated to fix anything for now. (Not blaming anyone )
How many mods do you have? There could a conflict somewhere somehow... You could also delete the "temp" folder inside of 0.24 folder. Reinstall your game if nothing works
Update time! Of course, that means important changes are in, to make it worth the hassle as always. Added 5095 style rims: Two options, all satin grey or silver with satin grey details 6011 rims are now available as spare wheels Made roof glass tint darker Now, all of the following is thanks to @dumpling in his quest to help give the car the handling everyone wants to have, hopefully his efforts are noticeable as always Dampers retuned Added welded differentials for both front and rear Added new rally transfer case Raised air suspension Revised tuning values for adjustable off-road suspension parts Reinforced off-road suspension A broken gauge for the TFL config (Check engine light is on!) (Special thanks to @Skwerly1 and @angelo234) Revised configurations with changes listed above BTW, the TFL configs have a little easter egg, in case anyone thinks is an issue: Spoiler: Spoiler The TFL config is so burned to the details you can't even start the car again if you turn it off!
